Any experience what MXR other pedals stack well with this pedal

I’m not really a stacker to be honest. I use a clean boost for solos like the MXR Micro amp!

I abandoned distortion pedals years ago but ready to dip back in . This or a basic Boss DS1...?

I prefer this. DS-1 was my go to 30 years ago but I moved on. It’s fizzy and kills low end. MXR pedals are great and this is warmer than the DS-1. Try the MXR Prime Distortion too.

Is this pedal a good boast for a solo in a blues / rocking band
@KRAZEEIZATION4 жыл бұрын
Can be. It’s got plenty gain.

KRAZEEIZATION I like your review on it you still got it only just got into them I brought a mxr double double drive which has a tube screamer then a ocd setting with a switch but still need another pedal to stack it I’m a blues man with the odd rock heavier tune thinking about buying this cause it’s not that expensive

Where is the black cabel going i dont understand where to plug it?
@KRAZEEIZATION4 жыл бұрын
Which black cable? The one on the left is going to the amp. The one on the right is the power supply cable. Pretty simple!

Would you recommend this pedal or the Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion for Pearl Jam/Stone Temple Pilots type of stuff?
@KRAZEEIZATION3 жыл бұрын
That’s a tricky one. I’d say the best thing is find out which units the guitarists in those bands used. The DS-2 is certainly a great distortion for most music like that.
