MY 06 Subaru WRX STI Made SHOCKING HORSEPOWER On The DYNO! | STOCK 200,000 MILES

Today we take the my new 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI to the dyno with ben west! Me and Shawn from misfire motorsports were very curious what horsepower a stock WRX with 200,000 miles will make. Let's just say we were Shocked! Can't wait to get this build started!

this was a fun one! talk about a factory freak, making and holding nearly 17-18 psi on a confirmed stock tune vs the typical 13-14! You definitely found a winner here. With the Misfire Motorsports treatment you know it'll be perfect. For reference, other stock cars on this dyno: stock FA20 WRX 225 WHP. Stock 15+ STI 265 WHP. Stock FA20 FT86/BRZ: 150 WHP

210,000 original miles on the motor? My 2012 Sti hatch has 130,000 miles on it's original everything. All stock aside from bigger intercooler, IAG AOS, and mishi radiator. I am meticulous about changing the fluids. Best car I've ever owned.

Also with currently owning a couple built subarus I did myself and all the ones over the years I've done I personally would recommend a couple upgrades that you should consider that will help keep these cars going strong and stay together that are cheap and can due with engine not coming out of the car like definitely a killer b oil pickup and baffle , cyl 4 get a dom cooling mod , set of arp headstuds , a legit complete timing belt kit,pulleys,pump , and a bigger fuel pump 4bar map , ebc, dont have too but i would go ewg and that is pretty much all it needs too easly turn the car up too 400s hp range safe then you would have too pull either engine or trans out cause a aftermarket clutch kit would have too go in for any more power and bigger with other stuff like injectors another pump , fmic and soo on

The 04-05 STi tail lights would really bring the rear together, gets rid of the wild chrome they had on the 06-07s lol. Man what a gorgeous Hawkeye though

If your interested in any upgrades like big turbo stock location setups I have a couple like gtx3582r red fp black a 20g greddy ext all either new or fresh rebuild condition or I also have couple rotated kits with bigger turbos like a new precision 7668s a precision 58 58 I also have methanol injection kit and big injectors, electronic boost controllers big perrin front mount intercooler kit new condition have blow off valves and external wastegates like a genuine greddy type r external wastegate and so on hit me up with whatever you looking for i probably have it and can give ya killer deals 🤙

450 would be way healthy. Me and the group like these cars with 300 to 350 and just bomb canyons. Drag racing is a different game obviously. But yeah no need to go 700 hp and play the hp game. Not these cars. Hell my 02 was fun on 18 psi barely maybe 250 wheel
