What I love about this strategy is that it reduces emotions to almost zero. Wait for the quality setup as he describes, then set it and forget it. One trade per day, then walk away. Brilliant!

I'm curious about this as well. Kinda confused what types of trades he's actually making to get so much profit from such small moves in the price. Like at 37:40 it's about a dollar change and got $500 from it. It looks like he was trading 200 dollars but under the buy signal is says buy 1000 @ $523. Hopefully that's not saying he's buying 1000 option contracts and I'm just misunderstanding.
@benjaminpiltz59878 күн бұрын
You can do either a big initial margin with low X or a lower initial margin with higher X. You just need to make sure your liquidation level stay away a good portion from the stop loss as we are looking for close events, meaning there can be wicks beyond the SL price and you don’t want to get liquidated there.
@bartekbrodzik71347 күн бұрын
Lots of people asking for that and yet no response... I'm also curious how it works, what is he actually trading? Stocks? You'd need a huge capital to make profits like that. Options? So how does it work then with one click on 1 minute time frame? I don't see any videos on the channel explaining that... The only thing that would make sense are futures, but I think he's trading SPY, Nvidia, Tesla, these are not futures though. Can anyone explain that or the author himself?

@@bartekbrodzik7134 In the top left of the video you can see his trading symbol: QQQ Trust, Series 1. This is an Invesco ETF on the NASDAQ 100. 1 ETF today costs about $535. So if his risk is $500 he aims at $1000 profit. If this profit is the result of a $1 price change, this means he would have bought 1000 units of this ETF.

Great results, but one of the most important value you should follow is payoff ratio ie. avg win / avg loss. By that ratio and win% you can easily calculate your expectancy in the R multiples. With the expectancy and max. drawdown in R multiples is all you need to see quickly (only 2 values) is your system good or bad.

I see wins and losses have a different amount each others. Eg. If You risk 1000 You should always win 2000 (2R:R) or more, only when You set a > 2R:R eg. if you aim for the High/Low of the day. If I understood right You risk always the same amount of dollars and not the same percentage of the account. Isnt' it? Could You please make a video about it and specify why to choose such approach?

Tony , thank you for your video. Overall very good trading. An observation - it seems you use discretion on your displacement to signal a possible direction before retracement. Why don't you have a mathematical look of say 1/3 the range of the 5 minute H-L to suggest a possible direction is reached. I have conditions programmed for such a bar of data. This would have stopped you from losing on one day in last week as you would not have entered. There was an earlier day in the month where you were successful but it did not reach the 1/3 range - for me, it was still too risky. A good rule of thumb is if you cannot program the methodology then there is too much discretion. You are an intuitive trader but most people are not. It would be helpful to see you actually trade futures markets such as ES and NQ rather Just some thoughts!

You said, that you only close the trade, when the body comes into the stop loss and not only the wick of the candle. However, how do you handle this situation? Do you close it manually or do you have a SL configuration which triggers automatically after the body goes into the SL?

Manual close
@xMilorine8 күн бұрын
There is a problem with waiting for the body to close before the stop loss too, if it doesn't you can sometime lose 2-3 times the amount of your original stop loss, I just hope he can cover this one day too.
@benjaminpiltz59878 күн бұрын
Would be interested in that too. The SL should be an automatism by any means.
@sudipdatta0077 күн бұрын
That means you are risking more money than before. What if your initial stoploss is 100 dollars and after the candle closes, you see 300 dollars stoploss? So this strategy sucks if you wait for candle closes !!
