Watching the end of this video makes me put my mind at ease, since I also like diving into different topics at once. I've tried to be more concentrated on a certain thing, but it never worked, because I like to do most things on a whim. Seeing that we have this thing in common, I feel more hopeful about the future and it comforts me in a way that this is a normal thing and you do not need to be a certain type in order to be successful.

Im literally struggling with the same thing over here. Nothing holds my interest long enough for me to become ‘good at it’. i lose motivation quickly and if i dont see results within a short period of time i give up. I like to try new things though but I struggle with consistency. And i feel like im constantly pressured to be ‘skilled/good at something’ to the point it has taken a toll on my mental health.
@Mlqkoskakao14 жыл бұрын
Reyo Reid I try being consistent, but what I wanted to say was that I want to know so many things that sometimes I don't prioritize right or I don't prioritize at all; and I have 10 things on my mind and it's not possible to be consistent with everything, which makes me feel bad because I start but don't finish; you can be a pro in only a few things and that's fine; even if you're consistent with only one thing, you're one step further
@Mlqkoskakao14 жыл бұрын
Reyo Reid btw I watched a Tedtalk and learned this useful thing: 1) you can become skilled at sth if you practice it for 20 hours overall; you won't be a pro, but you will be good at it; making little steps consistently is important, not the huge ones; I hope that helps and makes you feel better

Suggestion 1: change that dp of yours. You're 26 for crying out loud. 2: learn on your own, stop asking friends and people, what I've noticed is that people tend to just throw out the "fancy words" while knowing nothing about it themselves. 3: Needing a mentor at a young age is an excuse. Accept it and move on with learning on your own, if you don't know how to start then Google personal finance, pick a person and watch all their content. You'll know enough to move on to certain topics from there.

As Starsky and Shia said... "Do It" lol. Our goal is to build a community of NYC Adventurers. Just a side hustle of course. Started last week. But once the side hustle ever made 1/2 as much as the main hustle I'd pivot entirely!

Hey Charlie, it is certainly amazing that you can juggle many different projects at once. How do you manage different projects and stay on top of them? Do you use Post-its? or do you use iCalendar? If you could share management tips with, that will be really really helpful. ! and yes. I subscribed!

For self-management I like to use either post-its or a kanban baord app like Trello. It is really great to visually see what tasks you have and what progress you have been able to make with them.

I have a limited understanding of how the markets operate, I’m not looking to spend too much time in front of a trading screen. Is there still a possibility of generating passive income from it ?
@madalenairis98354 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Arguably, another way for trading passive income to be made easy is through fund management or copy trading. Rather than devoting considerable time and energy into developing a strategy and monitoring the markets, you can benefit from the success of experienced traders. This works for me so I can recommend to you
