I think I would only go to the stylist for a detox . The last time I was at a hair salon the same thing kinda happened I was under the dryer for so long ! When she removed the clips .. and I went home I could tell the clips cooked my hair . My locs were stiff too I hated it ! And I had buildup . I said oh hell no . Ain’t been back since and I don’t use the dryer .
