@ThallanarRabidtooth3 жыл бұрын
The 15th century really was the best period in the Medieval era, since it was the last time something could be categorically called "Medieval", until it began evolving into the Renaissance period sometime around 1450. I love all kinds of clothing styles, armor styles, weapons and architecture from the blended period of 1450-1500. Of course, the reason I got into this specific period is because of Assassin's Creed 2, which took place in 1476-1499. I know AC isn't completely historically accurate but they romanticized so much of that period and made it accessible to so many people.
@7dayspking3 жыл бұрын
Easton, Modern history TV and Tobias Capwell already had 15th century kits and for a long time.
@7dayspking3 жыл бұрын
@@ThallanarRabidtooth I would say Assassin's creed 2 did the opposite of romanticize the era. They feel back on a lot of tropes to create a duller, modern take on it. To make the people of the time appear less sophisticated and technologically advanced. Most of that is probably down to historical accuracy not being the goal and ignorance from the majority of artists who built the game (Literally hundreds of people build assets, environments and art for an Assassin's creed game. We can guarantee most of them were not educated in this specific time period or place.)
