My 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS QV Restomod

Full walk around and photo shoot video of my 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS QV 3.4L - 300 whp- Restomod built by the Famous Ferrari Restorer Paul Newman. This car is fully documented on FerrariChat Forum by the builder (Paul Newman) and the original owner from 2012-2013. I'll post the link to that thread below. Lovely. Just need to put the original steering wheel. I had a 328 as it is my favorite and, in my opinion, prettiest car ever made. That said, 308s are cooler mainly due to those toggle switches.

I’ve loved and still love the 308 / 328 design better than anything ever made!! I sold this 308 but have really missed it and been wanting a 328.

I'm sorry to disappoint but I regrettably sold this 308 on BAT (bringatrailer) auction site a couple of years ago. I wished I hadn't but I did. Someday hope to own another one.

@@NewpsBeach22 Well, long story but the short answer is, I had bought a 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S to replace the 2012 Turbo S I traded for this 308. The potential for making close to $40k was too tempting and I decided to try to make the money to pay off the 911. I do still wish I had it though. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Are those GTB rear quarter louvers? Did you need to make modifications to fit them to the GTS windows?

The previous owner had them done. They’re actually Gts louvers that are cut to look like GTB. I always liked that look.

This particular video was solely shot as a detail video only for the auction prior to its sale. The auction on bringatrailer.com had all of the description and other pictures and all the information needed about the build. If you search my videos on my channel, you will find more information about it. There are also videos with all of the build pictures. It was the original engine with a Ferrari 360 crank which stroked the engine to 3.4 L. It also had a hell tech programmable injection system. And a few other parts that made it, go over 300 wheel horsepower. Go to bringatrailer.com and search Ferrari 308 and it sold a few years ago so you will find the auction and all the pictures and description that you want.

It had the original engine but rebuilt with a F360 crank , stroking it to a 3.4L, with custom cams, a few other bits, and a Haltech programmable fuel injection system. Maybe about 300+ whp.

It was a parking lot of an old home our city bought and renovated for a party / event venue and it’s not gravel, it’s crushed slate! Was just a nice place for pics and videos for my auction on BAT.
