bull bar, velcro strap & original rubber bezel with positive lcd is the most tactical mod gshock because stainless steel add extra weight, cordura velcro strap more durable than braclet, rubber is better shock absorber than metal, bull bar didn't add weight, plus postive lcd easier to read

I figured that it's easier to install the kit when you installed the bracelet to the head of the watch first and then the case later.

Yes but the bracelet had nothing to do with the case. The spring bars weren't locating correctly into the holes and needed adjustment. I actually ended up taking off the case and doing the bracelet first after

Yeh exactly, go for that beat up vintage tactical look. Yeh deffo get one. The SS case is even easier to fit. This one was just a little tricky

I’ve got two 5600s that I’ve Modded differently… A negative display with a black anodized case and bracelet and a solar positive display in the brushed stainless… My go-to grab and go beater watches

My first G-shock is the blacked out negative display 5600 ... my second (I have only 2) is the Casioak Grey dial. G-shocks are almost a must have in any well rounded collection - the definition of 'stylish beaters'. That said for hiking and camping I wear a Protrek triple sensor.

Almost all of my brothers in the military had one version or another Myself Luminox was the solid choice even though they didn't come out big till late 80's early 90's and still after all these years no Casio but loved your MOD video and All of your content Thanks my friend 👍

Very Cool mod! I Still have my first G shock. It’s over 30 years old. The strap and bezel got old and broke. I was going to mod it but it’s the steal case and screws had fused to the case. I was lucky enough to get a thirty fifth anniversary reissue DW 5735D, round face, which I really like. Not too many steel case G Shocks. Protreks are also very cool, although not as durable.

I just got the 5610 but not inverted I need glasses to read so normal is better for me with auto light I can read without glasses.. mod is something I’m considering for the future for sure..fun to do..

very nice. i just got a 5000u and am thinking about a mod already, either for the 5000u or my 5610. i have several combi bracelets 1 and 2 and i was thinking about getting the red link combi for the 5610 but these mods especially after a couple years maturity are pretty cool i might even buy something like you did although a screwback would really be the icing on the cake

Got me the gun metal version. Dunno' how do they call it I think aged stainless steel or something. It has the same weathering effect and that one you got. Mine has a slight yellowish hue. If you like more gray go for old black something version. The coating is keeping very good. And I had the same problem with spring bars.

You never see a professional that it is worth his salt wearing a metal bracelet or a Velcro strap. 99% they will keep it the way came out of the box, that is the best tactical configuration. The 1% will have a nato strap, and add bull bars. I added bull bars to mine after I got my hand pinned between a wall and a pice of equipment, the nato strap became to nasty after a while. All the sand and dirt keep chafing my skin, so I put back the regular straps. If you do not need ABC functionality, the 3495 module has all the features you will ever need.
