I am SOOOOO glad you made this video. I bought a 10 X10X 2 square cake pan and the first time I baked a cake (someone else's recipe) it was high on the sides, think in the middle and when I tried to get it out of the pan it just crumbled. Since i was doing this for someones birthday, I couldn't just give up. I listened carefully at your video and because you gave instructions at the end to bake it at 350 for 35 mins this worked perfectly and solved my problem. (originally I was cooking it on 325 which was too low). Thank you again!

I use cake cooling racks. They are great. I also turn my tip layer upside down to keep from splitting. You are the best cook. I told my granddaughter to follow you and she made your steak and gravy. It was so good she made it again the next day for her family. They wanted more. Thank you for what your are doing.

Awww...Girl, you're an amazing cook/baker PERIOD BOO! LOL I saw this guy that baked a long time ago say that after doing the crumb coat you should refrigerate the cake then take it out and apply the outer coat maybe thats why your lines went through the frosting a little.

Yep that’s correct. I do it now but that’s why practice and learning is key.
