The reason why they sampled >>> Love Dive = Loved 'Ive' I will Survive = I will serve 'Ive' and "I will survive. Even if I Dive." . . . and more meaning!! They sing about narcissism. In the song , they fall in love with themselves in the other person's eyes. And the next song metaphorically refers to narcissism by expressing the myth of Narcissus who fell in love when he saw himself reflected in the lake. emphasizes that there is 'I' between 'LOVE'(LO I VE >>> LO 'IVE'), and both the subject and object of love are themselves. The title may also mean "LOVE"(a higher level than "Like") or may be interpreted as "I like ME(not YOU)" reflecting their narcissism.

their b-sides definitely showcase their vocals a lot more, my satisfaction is personally my favourite from them which it is fairly new as it came out with after like! the one you were talking about that you thought was the leader is gaeul, she is the co-leader of the group and then blonde one in love dive and eleven is Liz and she is the main vocalist :) + adding onto this, their only b-sides are take it, royal and my satisfaction as they always come out with singles sadly. Nevertheless, they are all worth a listen

First time I watched After Like it made me nostalgic, not for Gloria Gaynor but for Taeyeon's cover of Pussycat Dolls- Hush Hush from the ITNW concert. 2 of the members of IVE (Wonyoung and Yujin) were from IZ*ONE. In another popular group under HYBE ent., Lesserafim, Chaewon and Sakura were also from IZ*ONE. IZ*ONE’s music is sooooo good and they have a distinct sound in all of them which makes you know it’s an IZ*ONE song. They’re fun and have an elegant concept to them. They have 5 korean songs, the order in which they were released are “La Vie En Rose”, “Violeta”, “Fiesta”, “Secret Story of the Swan”, and “Panorama.” They debuted on October 2018 and have disbanded in April 2021 since they were made on a survival show, Produce 48, which made them only last 2 and a half years. They only have 3 single albums (6 songs in total) but every single one of them is amazing!! Their Bsides are crazy good as well. Take It (from Eleven) Royal (from Love Dive) My Satisfaction (from After Like) * 3:10 , her name is Gaeul, yes she is Korean. She is the older member of the group (2002) but she isn't the leader. * 12:40 in fact this girl, Rei, is the foreign member, She is Japanese. She is the main rapper and she writes her own rap part in After Like. * 13:32 she didn't catch your attention much but this girl, An Yujin, is the leader of the group. She is a former IZONE member. You went slightly out of order, IVE (their fanname is Dive) debuted with Eleven in January and ran the table with that song, winning something like 13 music show trophies with outrageous point scores (12,000+). Then they came out with Love Dive with that wonderful choreography by La Chica from Street Woman Fighter (adapted for idols, another choreographer added a portion as well). As of the time of your taping this segment, IVE / After Like may still be competing for music show trophies against the likes of BlackPink, NCT and Stray Kids. They'll likely win ROTY, so investing time into their B-sides now is advantageous. WonYoung just re-signed her contract as MC for Music Bank, you can catch her weekly on that show.

I was a bit unsure about the choice of sampling for this style of song when you’re looking at lyrically and it definitely sounds good and sonically it works… but I just kinda wished they kept the song more original to them… that’s just personal preference and my love and respect for “I will survive” lol I think sampling is trendy again… I just love the music of all their songs I’ve heard so I tend to dig original… they’re all great and after like is my least favorite as well… but I do like it… but I love eleven and love dive. I always watch you mainly for BTS stuff.. but I always like to listen to your thoughts in music and vocals especially… you tend to say what I’m thinking more often than not lol
