The reason why they sampled >>> Love Dive = Loved 'Ive' I will Survive = I will serve 'Ive' and "I will survive. Even if I Dive." . . . and more meaning!! They sing about narcissism. In the song , they fall in love with themselves in the other person's eyes. And the next song metaphorically refers to narcissism by expressing the myth of Narcissus who fell in love when he saw himself reflected in the lake. emphasizes that there is 'I' between 'LOVE'(LO I VE >>> LO 'IVE'), and both the subject and object of love are themselves. 2 of the members of IVE (Wonyoung and Yujin) were from IZ*ONE. In another popular group under HYBE ent., Lesserafim, Chaewon and Sakura were also from IZ*ONE. IZ*ONE’s music is sooooo good and they have a distinct sound in all of them which makes you know it’s an IZ*ONE song. They’re fun and have an elegant concept to them. They have 5 korean songs, the order in which they were released are “La Vie En Rose”, “Violeta”, “Fiesta”, “Secret Story of the Swan”, and “Panorama.” They debuted on October 2018 and have disbanded in April 2021 since they were made on a survival show, Produce 48, which made them only last 2 and a half years. You went slightly out of order, IVE (their fanname is Dive) debuted with Eleven in January and ran the table with that song, winning something like 13 music show trophies with outrageous point scores (12,000+). Then they came out with Love Dive with that wonderful choreography by La Chica from Street Woman Fighter (adapted for idols, another choreographer added a portion as well). As of the time of your taping this segment, IVE / After Like may still be competing for music show trophies against the likes of BlackPink, NCT and Stray Kids. Knowing "I Will Survive" pretty well before "After Like", I was also thrown off for a while since I couldn't stop thinking about the og song whenever the sample played. But after a few listens, "After Like" started owning the melody in my ears and it definitely fit better. I just had to completely separate the two songs in my mind haha
