ABBA was privilidged to have 2 genius songwritters(Benny/Bjorn) featured here and TWO female leadsingers.Agnetha(blonde)/Anni-Frid (brunette).Each girls had their share in lead ,to many Abba hit songs and of course many times sang lead in unison.Their vocal blending is utopic and according to specialists create the phenomenon of a '3rd voice".As another fan stated Abba's vocals are a 'Universal treasure" in the musicverse.

ABBA is one of the most versitale groups in music history, with so many international tophits (has sold second most albums in the world after The Beatles). Both girls are great singers, especially together. In Europe, Australia and Latinamerica ABBA had huge success during the years 1974-82 and their timeless music came back later in theatres and movies aswell.

They were very much a band with all 4 members integral. Even the name of the band is made up from the initial of their first names Anna, Benny, Bjorn and Agnetha. The two girls both sang lead and were the main force behind the stunning harmonies while the guys wrote the music and played the instruments and chimed in with vocals, even lead here and there. They are one of the biggest selling bands of all time with a multitude of pop hits but in different genres and with their inimitable ABBA sound. Songs varied from light pop fare such as this to more complex sounds, Disco, rock, classical, folk ballads and anthems... So they are a great band to react to as well as being Universally loved.

Agnetha (the blonde) is lead singer on some songs and Frida on others. Both have extremely successful ABBA songs and also very successful solo singing careers. When they sing together the sound is special and has been called a "third voice". There are very few ABBA songs which do not produce a very positive reaction - have fun trying to find them. Also check out the songs they produced recently - after a 40 year gap!

Agnetha (the blonde) many times she is the main voice, Frida (the brunette) in another times is the main voice, but in general, Agnetha stands out or is usually the main vocal of ABBA, she is my favorite, and yes, before and after ABBA she was a soloist, even until now that she has just released a new song.

You can't stop asserting that Agnetha is the main vocal of ABBA, yes? IT'S NOT TRUE, no matter how often you repeat it. They both had the same amount of lead songs. And don't come with things like she is always better to hear because that is also not true. There are even Agnetha lead songs where one can hear Frida's voice stronger than Agnetha's.

Fair enough, but recognise it is a bias and based on your opinion. BOTH have had very successful singing careers both before and after ABBA. It is my opinion that Agnetha had a better range and excelled at portraying emotion and Frida had a richer more velvety tone. But that is just my opinion and I love them both equally. You need both for the magical ABBA sound which has endured for 50 years.

And in the songs with shared vocals it is definitely not so that we always hear Agnetha more than Frida. It's strangely only Agnetha fans who assert that, all others hear the truth. And why do Agnetha fans always come with that jealousy thing? It was only ONE song where Frida admitted, that she was jealous that B+B gave it to Agnetha and that was The Winner Takes It All. The other way around it was Agnetha who wanted to sing Our Last Summer. Who can say for sure that she wasn't just as jealous when B+B gave it to Frida? And why should I take the gossip press seriously? Agnetha is more beautiful just because the press says so? *lol* I rather have my own opinion than to parrot the press. By the way you should use more full stops than commas in your sentences. Oh boy are you wrong lol! Frida, the red head has sung many leads on ABBA songs. The girls took turns leading. Try "Fernando". 'Knowing me and knowing you". 'Super Trouper". 'Money money money". 'Tropical Loveland" . All Frida lead vocals. Agnetha has some solo here but Frida is fantastic too. Their voices together create harmony like no other! It's often called ABBAs third voice. Did you know these were 2 married couples? Ani-Frid aka Frida or Annie is the red head and married Benny the piano player. Agnetha the blonde married Bjorn the guitarist. That's where ABBA comes from. The initials of their first names. They were from Sweden. They have sold over 400 million records. Only the Beatles have sold more. This performance is lip synced. You can catch slip ups from Benny and Bjorn every once in a while. Having said that, this is my favorite video of this song because Agnetha is STUNNING in that outfit! Am I right? But seriously, if you want to see live ABBA performances check out ABBA In Concert 1979 or ABBA live in Australia 1977. They always did a great show! Check out more of their catalog.
