She outright said that she hated styling Hyoyeon and that Hyoyeon wanted to dress femininely and it took a while for her to essentially grind Hyoyeon down to what she wanted her to wear. And that she much prefers styling Sooyoung and Tiffany. Like, you can have a preference as a human being. As their stylist, you CANNOT go into an interview and smack talk one of the members...

there was a time like until a year ago that most SNSD songs before 2013 weren't on spotify and I used to listen to the Japanese versions all the time because of it. Oh! (JPN) as the third single of their second Japanese album was a surprise for us back then because the original version was released two years prior and we thought SNSD kind of moved away from the cute concept already (this was after The Boys, etc.). It's also kind of out of place in the album (Girls & Peace) since it's the album with Flower Power and Paparazzi. I would personally recommend you to watch their Genie helipad performance, it was iconic. Drones weren't a thing before so they used a helicopter to take the aerial shots. Though it would be difficult to post a reaction to that since the performance is copyrighted by the broadcasting company. You should still check it out. 2nd gen groups tend to perform in weird places during music shows before.

I think it took the Japanese stylists to find the right look for her, because from here (2010) on out, she was "gorgeous" instead of "Handsome". I also think Hyo's beauty is the sort that has to be grown into, the quintessential "ugly duckling" who becomes a beautiful swan.
