I suffered, I persevered, and I improved. Get a glimpse into what my everyday was like for a month as I trained at E-bagsh's winter training camp in Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia, China. Mongol Bokh (wrestling) is an ancient and formidable grappling art and it was an amazing honor and privilege to train with professionals in their folk wrestling style. Thanks to E-bagsh, Lavell Marshall, and all the wrestlers who made me better.

I will commend you for taking the time and dedication not only to start practicing wrestling at 30, but actually going to Mongolia (well China,) to learn a very specific type of wrestling. Your tenacity and eager to learn is inspiring. I'm 28, freestyle/Greco Roman wrestler trying to learn some Mongolian wrestling. So this channel has been eye opening. Shows that it's possible.

: I have a Mongolian brother: multiple Asian and World champion at 57kg i think: Sergalenbaater Luvsanish: we lost contact when he went to USA, perhaps there could be a 6 degrees of seperation here.

This is so cool man, I've been thinking about doing something similar to your channel and it's awesome to find someone traveling, practicing martials arts and documenting it. Any words of advice or tips for a young man wanting to follow in your path?

This is very awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this! One thing that I really like about wrestling in Inner (and Outer) Mongolia is the culture attached with it. Wrestling seems like it is fun for them. It's play, it's habitual, it's important. I really wish to be in that kind of environment where everyone is so experienced and in love with art. I just started Beijing Shuaijiao 8 months ago at the age of 27, so I have a few years before I want to travel to other countries to train. Hope to train with you sometime! Great work yo!

Thanks for the kind words and honestly I think culture and lifestyle is part of why mongol wrestlers are so good. Where are you training Beijing jiao?
