Mongolian wrestling rule is very simple: if you touch on the ground except with hands you lose and there is no 2nd chance kind of like sumo but in much bigger ground and no slapping

Mongolian wrestling dates back to cave paintings from 7000 BC. They've been doing this for 9,000 years. Holy shit.

? when isn't striking practical? war is war, the more weapons in one's arsenal, the better. also, some chokes, submissions etc might be interesting while on the ground... just saying...
@Desoul119 жыл бұрын
SHMAGEGIE that's professional wrestling but in a street fight once you're grabbed oh boy you're fucked i learnt it the hard way lol
@dugu12897 жыл бұрын
Well they need to throw their opponents because of the rule any body parts touch on the ground except hands lose. Sometimes when you taking down your opponent your knee or elbow touch on the ground before your opponent even you are on top of your opponent in that case you lose. Also they can't afford any little mistake because there's no second chance if you lose wait until next year tournament

They might seem not very bulky but believe me, they can lift 200+ kg without any preparation so they are very strong, they can't run as fast as sprinters but compared to an average man they are very fast, they can wrestle 1-2 hours straight without any rest so they have very good stamina. They know how to wrestle because they started it when they were 5 or 6, and most of them are street hooligan. Street fighting and racketeering is their daily job, so how they can be bad at it?
