My 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG From CARVANA! Here's What I learned (Not Sponsored)

I bought a 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG from Carvana in April of 2024. Here are a few things that I learned after going through the process.
1) Do not trust the delivery date that Carvana gives you. I originally scheduled to have the car delivered in 7 days. It kept getting delayed. Week after week, texts about another delay. Ultimately, the car arrived 4 weeks after my original delivery date.
2) Carvana does have a useful warranty. 100 days, 4400 miles and it will fix anything that Carvana did not list, as long it is not a "wearable" item (clutch, brakes, etc). I used it to fix a leaky valve cover, a leaking transmission seal, and a broken suspension link arm. Overall, parts and labor were about $3,000, but I only paid $300 (the deductible for bringing to an outside shop)
3) It is possible to find a nice car on Carvana. Carvana might sell some pretty beat up cars, but with due diligence it is possible to find a nice one. This car was only 2 owners, had a clean Carfax, and low milage. The paint is in great condition and the interior barely looks used. Great example for the price.
2010 Mercedes E63 AMG. W212 with the M156 is king.
The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 (called the M156 internally) in the E63 produces 518 horsepower and 476 ft/lb of torque. Built from the ground up by AMG, it was the successor to the much-loved M113K that was in the E55. The M156 was a high revving race engine that had its issues, but over time it has proven to be a favorite amongst Mercedes enthusiasts. With the new AMGs going to 4-cylinder hybrids, the M156 is the pinnacle to the German horsepower and size wars of the 2000's.

Im planing to buy a car but i dont have any experience on how warranty works! So you saying when i buy a car from carvana they will give me a warranty for the next 100 days and i can fix anything for free cuz i have warranty?

Carvana will give you a 100-day/4,189 mile limited warranty (whichever comes first). Examples of systems that are covered… Frame and Body (Corrosion) Engine Transmission & Drive Shaft Differential Cooling Electrical Fuel Heating & Air Conditioning Braking Restraint Steering Suspension Wheels Exhaust You bring to shop, shop files claim, then wait for warranty to approve (can take a couple days, be prepared to not have car). $350 deductible for your shop, $100 if it’s their shop (you can find their shops in app)
