It’s so great to have a best of 2017 makeup list from you. I love Dandelion blush so I must try the twinkle. I’d love to see more eye tutorials from you, as there aren’t any other youtubers as good as you who do looks using shimmer etc that suit people in the 40 plus age range. I’ve learnt a lot from you.

Hi Nisha, happy new year, beautiful! Hope you're well and enjoyed your holiday season - hope it was as happy as you made it beautiful! I wanted to recommend to you the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara. It's really, really inexpensive! It's SO comparable to the IT Superhero, of which I am a fan, but you could buy 4 or 5 of them for the same price as 1 IT Superhero. It's my fav, esp for bottom lashes, which all other brands but IT and Essence ends up under my eyes. And I love it to build up lashes at the roots and then top up with the Tarte mascara. I've been away from YT for a while and am happy to see you again. You look as lovely as ever. Again, thank you for making wigs a fun thing! I wish they'd been a fun thing when I needed them during chemo.

Nisha!! Great video. What's up with ladies giving you grief about wigs. In the 60s it was very popular to wear wigs and what they called FALLS . A long flip that you added to the back of your bangs to give you an instant long hair in a flip. I had a platinum full wig, medium length, in a "flip" They used to have wig parties, where you bought different kinds of wigs to wear. It's nothing new. You don't have to have lost your hair, in orders to wear one. So silly. That wig is adorable on you. Keep up the wonderful videos.

Thanks so much for sharing these products with us. I can only pray that this new year will be better. I lost a grand baby, my daddy and was away from home for 5 months taking care of my mom and her husband. He is 87 years old, my mom is 78. She had three surgeries in my time there and it was heart breaking watching her, but I took care of her like a baby. She has dementia and it is rapidly getting worse. Send a prayer this way my friend. Have a wonderful and blessed new year and as always, looking forward to all the new things you will bring to you tube my friend...much love 💋

Thank you for featuring these products. I, too, mix foundations to match my skin tone. Choosing the right foundation is tricky, especially as you get older. I don't like dry, cakey foundations that settle into fine lines. I will check out the IT Superhero mascara. I love wigs, too, as you know. :) Wigs are my favorite fashion accessory. Hi Nisha, I have been looking for a great new lip liner, so I checked into the Estes Edit brand. You may already know this, but the brand was discontinued in about June of 2017. The following is part of what I found: "After less than a year, The Estée Edit is no more. Parent company Estée Lauder is retiring the cosmetics and skin-care brand, which launched in 2016 to target millennial consumers. Sales of the brand will conclude this September at Sephora (the remaining products are currently selling for a discounted price at the retailer), while the brand's own e-commerce site will continue through the end of 2017." So we won't be able to get it. Perhaps there is something similar in Estée Lauder's line?

Good year-end review, Nisha. I'm going to get that pretty pink Too Faced lipstick! I just want to say a couple of things on subjects you mentioned. The Estee Edits seem to have been short-lived. If the Estee Lauder site no longer carries it, ebay might be your only hope. Amazon? As for highlighting, I agree with you entirely. I am 62 and have recently developed a light network of crinkles under my eyes, right on the upper portion of my cheekbones. Highlighting only highlights that mess!! So I now use only a cream blush, (powder blush looks cakey nowadays) which I use below that network of crinkles so that I get only the apples of my cheeks. Then I highlight right over the blush subtly. It looks much better. Finally, the wigs. I worked in a department store wig department in the early 1970's when wigs and falls were ubiquitous. I love wigs and hairpieces because I have naturally curly hair that goes horribly frizzy - think Elsa Lanchester in "Frankenstein"! It takes me an hour to wash, blow dry then curling iron it into the style I want. In the winter my hair doesn't hold the pretty curls after sleeping on it, so if I want to look good I have to re-curl it. It's a pain in the rear and I am saving to get my own Editor's Pick Raquel Welsh wig. Anyone who would say ugly things to you about wearing wigs is 1) rude and 2) stupid. With a possible number 3) too young to remember when we wore them all the time. Wigs are NOT just for women with cancer, of all the ridiculous things I've ever heard. Black women wear them for the same reason I do - naturally curly hair is a beast to style and keep styled. It takes hours several times a week, and I don't always have that. I can hardly wait until I've saved enough money to buy Editor's Pick. How easy my life will be! Love you and Happy New Year to you and your family.
