Fascinating, as always. I was glad to see that someone else loves the amber/brown/all-other shades of brown pens. I also love brown inks, but (and, I don’t know if anyone else suffers from this tendency) I tend to “save” the pens I love the most! Partially I too have the pen virus, so I am constantly inking up new pens that I want to try. However, even as an old retiree, I save what I love. It is a trait I do not like, but i acknowledge it is hard to kick. Thanks for the reviews! Best wishes for as you launch your campaign for the next stage.

I found your videos when I had pretty well decided to buy a Kaweco sport because carrying my vintage Aurora was giving me heart failure, and I just wanted some opinions. Now I'm afraid to carry my sport because I like it too much! The other stars of my collection are a Sailor procolor stardust which surprised me with how nice it is, and TWO Conklin Duragraph matte black rainbows; one flex and one medium. I recall you didn't think they were all that but they suit me. Not every pen works out but it's nice to find your friends.

I clean the pens with distilled water. I buy this water at a pharmacy. Autoclave distilled water. It costs, in Brazil, 4 dollars 5 liters. Can I use tap water?

Question: why buy pens, then rhapsodize, on and on, about having sold them… just curious… Love your content, but our hobby is not for the faint of heart, nor coin purse… when making pen purchases, especially at the price point which make up most your collection, I am too careful not to appear unprincipled with resources, since many like fountain pens for the inherent “humanitarian” commentary they add to…. ((Okay, now that I watched… to the end… I totally get it…. We so appreciate you and love you and wish you the best in your new place….))
