Really been enjoying your videos mate, I have to say I like the relatively short video format you use compared to a lot of other tradie/tool channels out there As a first year apprentice myself I'm noticing there seems to be a lot of overlap in functionality and uses between several tools, "more than one way to skin a cat" type of thing. I'd be really interesting to a comparison of potential use cases for different tools and their pros and cons if that's something you'd be interested in making a video on :)

Cheers for the positive feedback mate! Yeah I've noticed that too, one of the reasons I started this channel was to make higher quality videos that get straight to the point. I can definitely make a video like that, always looking for ideas

I’m starting my electrical apprenticeship in January and need to buy all the tools for then. I’m wondering what’s the best tool belt with pouch and tool bag to start off with? I had a look at the Toughbuilt one with the clip on and off system but not sure about the durability? What would you recommend I get? Thanks

Hey mate what would you recommend an apprentice use? A tool belt or tool bag. Considering having to get into tight spaces, potentially tools falling out of the tool belt. What did you use when you were an apprentice?

If you can afford it, get the Makita pouch and belt mentioned in the video. You can use your pouch as a tool bag as well. When you're crawling under houses or up in roof spaces just leave your pouch behind and put your pliers, tester, etc. in your pockets. As for larger tools such as your hammer, once again if you can afford it get into the packout system early, if not; any tool bag is fine. During most of my apprenticeship I had the Sidchrome Open Tote Contractor’s Tool Bag (which you can get from Bunnings), however I found it to be a pain to carry around after a while so I moved to the pouch and packout setup by the end of my apprenticeship. You won't have many tools at the beginning though so carrying a tool bag isn't too bad during your first couple of years as an apprentice

The packaging and Marvel website doesn't mention anything about it's insulation rating so best guess is it's not rated up to 1000V
