Happy Anniversary!! I mostly use spinning rods/reels. I have one baitcaster but I back lashed very hard my first time out and havent used it since lol!!

Yes. I used to throw a Dobyns Fury as well. However my son started throwing it and never gave it back. So I relented, LOL! I just posted a survey on my opportunity to buy a Dobyns Xtasy rod. Should I make the purchase? 👏🏿👏🏿🎣

So wrong! Green line is way better than blue. But it is a great video full of good info and I like that your bass and crappie reels for every technique are spinning rods. I only use conventional/baitcasting rods for salt water trolling, deep jigging, and pier fishing. So glad to see another member of the Shakespeare ugly stick family! I'm going to look into the 12 foot crappie hunter.

Hello Malik. How are you sir. Pray all is well. Malik I have a question in regards to the phenix feather spinning rod you purchased. I saw the video you made showing that rod. Have you noticed any flex in the reel seat when you fished it?? I have that rod in a 6'9 M -series. The few times I fished it, I noticed some flex. When you can, looking forward to your reply. Hello. So far, all is well. Thanks for asking. I haven't noticed any flex so far. That said, I have only handled fish up to 3 pounds on that combo. Now with continued use, it may happen. I will give you and update sometime in April. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣

Came around this video great content i just started looking for a budget setup really don't have to much to spend i fish from the bank or off docks so was wondering if you could link the setup for the soft plastics or some similar? Hello! Thank you for visiting the channel. There are 2 types of combos i can recommend. The Abu Garcia Max Ultra "Spinning" Combo and the 13 Fishing Fate FT "Casting" Combo Rod are very good rods based on your search recommendations. Both rods are sold at Dicks Sporting Goods. Both combos are affordable at $100 each and many times DSG will offer coupons to reduce the price further. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣

I have been looking around just can't seem to find the answer what is the difference between the abu garcia max ultra and the max pro spinning combo? Thanks for the help

(I apologize for the late reply). As you might know, the Abu Garcia Max is a series of reels and combos. The Max Pro is a better reel than the Ultra. A good comparison of the Max series is the Lews Mach series of reels and combos. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣

I have always believe that spinning tackle is more diverse as fishing gear than baitcast combos, including the bait finesse system. That’s sad when I want to throw baits that are heavier than 2 ounces I use my Megabass/Zillion combo which is the one baitcast combo in my arsenal. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣
