As a newbie coming from a it of leatherworking and a bit of paracord, it seems to me that you could use cobblers waxed terylene thread. Then you could clip off your knots and them slightly singe the ends which will melt and be able to be flattened into the knot and cannot come undone. Much quicker and easier (and cleaner) than glue!

OMG . . after seeeing the first one .. i almost confessed my LOOOOVE to you 😂 lol ..i really liked it and i am so happy to find your beautiful tutorial, as i got a punch of new beads that i really love but finding a hard time making an easy bracelet with since i am a newbie and facing a deadline .. this design is JUST PERFECT for that particular bead "its a cat head shape with top hole/opening " ,this is perfect cuz the string will be pulled back once u close the bracelet. perfect . thank you sooooo much i love your work. ​@KelliesBeadBoutique

This is my very first comment on any KZbin channel. I made this bracelet with my own heart shaped button. I love the look and simplicity of design. However my heart button is quite wide so that after I did my barrel knots to accommodate it the bracelet fit too loosely. I undid the final barrel knot, slipped a silicone slider onto the two pieces of leather and replaced the barrel knot. It actually works making the bracelet adjustable. Maybe others have done this but I’ve not seen it. Hope you like the idea. I have misplaced my tubes so am making the knots without them. Please don’t laugh at them. I learned to make them from you like everyone else who watches KZbin. Thanks for the designs, the tips and the modesty. Pls keep that wonderful brain where I can use it 😊 Wish I could send pictures.
