It's been a pleasure to sit alongside you and everyone else who have been working so diligently towards their goals and achieving them this year. I had one big aspiration for my life in general that I focused on pushing as much as I could throughout the year, but I am looking forward to making that more specific and breaking that and other goals that are often little lightning bolts in my synapses that appear and disappear before I can even think to plan how to achieve them, into steps that make sense in the goal setting for 2024. I find that even though I spent so much of this year pushing however I could think to, there was a lot of floundering and staring at the walls blankly when I wasn't ACTIVELY doing something to move my business forward. I have been making notes of things that have worked against me this year though, and already feel a little bit more prepared to head into 2024 with more time to do more... admin/seo type things instead of sitting in task paralysis due to a backlog of retouching causing me stress and guilt. Honestly, it has been such a pleasure to witness many of you work towards your goals and smash them out of the park throughout the year and I mean this when I say it, you all deserve each success that you have 😊 We will all take our learnings from 2023 forward with us into 2024 and continue on our journeys and achieve even more goals 🤓 But for now, lets enjoy the last couple of weeks of 2023 😊❤️

So proud of you. ❤ Goal settings is a game changer. It helped me too, and I’m very happy with that. I had to extend my deadline but finally I achieved my goal. Check up call was essential for me 😊 seeing that not only I had up and downs helped me to resume my goal steps with strength!!! 2024 here we goo!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

You’re amazing Jess! I hope to someday have what it takes to do a bit of what you’ve done. I think the reason I’ve not set goals is because I don’t think I can achieve them. I’ve always got an excuse to not do something because of the way I feel about myself. Hopefully that can change for 2024. Thank you❤

Thank you for the video. As someone who has known you for a little while now. I see you very much as an inspiration. For what you did with rebranding The BIPP. The fact that you created a wonderful panel, for your fellowship, coming up with a very unique idea, which was completely out of your safety zone, and incredibly hard to shoot. The fact that you are working on your work life balance is incredibly important in the long term and having that goal outside of photography or running a business is just as important, especially if it is something you love. As someone who also set a lot of goals over the last year. Some which I succeed in, some with partial success, and others which I have put on the back burner until next year now. I now look back on the year and wonder if I could have done better, but also know that the mistakes I made (and there were a lot), will help me next year hopefully achieve the goals I now set for myself, both in photography and life. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year and will be keeping my fingers crossed that you have more successes in the goals you want to achieve because you deserve all of them. :D

Are you still doing stock photography? If so, is it still going well?

I still gain monthly revenue from microstock but the earnings are maybe a third of what they were 3-4 years ago, and even then it was very much pocket change so nothing to write home about. I only use the stock pennies for competition entries so it helps a little ☺️ We still buy stock images for our other businesses clients so there is still a market, AI is just changing how that looks now.
