If your spitfire conicals have treads they are most likely fakes. I been buying spitfire f4 for years in the states and they're all smooth.

Came here to say that. I've never had a pair of F4 that had tread. The only spitfire that do are the og formula that are cheaper.

The classic formula has the tread not the F4s That skate a little harder than the F4 but I still like em.

Think I got some fake conical fulls did not realise at time they were and ordered them a year ago now so I cannot even get a refund :(

Formula 4's are smooth sometimes the classic formula comes with treads aswell as the F1 street & park burners as of 2023 the only treaded wheels spitfire makes is the classic white wheels different formula not as flat spot resistant as the F4 everything else is smooth conicals radials og classics and the classic shape

I like having a colored top stain but when i do my grip i like for it to cover up the top ply color completely or barely showing i feel like the further out my grip sits the less likely my feet will slip from the board especially on the nose ive landed tricks with my foot on the nose if i didnt grip my board completely i would have rolled my ankle off the nose

Just got some 54mm spitfire F4 conicals and no tread either, smooth as. Not the full shape though, regular cons. Maybe they’re running that across the board now, who knows. I used to skate classics and just switched to these, classics had the tread, thought it was just a conical thing. Be interested to find out. I liked having that tread on a new set for some reason.

Formula fours have never had a grooved tread as far as I know, the classic formula does have groove treads though
