I do both because I don't want my Emergency Fund, Christmas Club & some others at home, I have separate accounts for them. Then every2-3 months I will put saving challenges money into my Sinking Fund account, naming each, how much going in & the balance. I don't like having a lot of money in house, but I do get satisfaction putting money into them & seeing them grow & be completed. I'm doing. I'm also tracking all I've completed & am blown away with so far 164 completed this year.🎉🎉 Great video.

Hi 🙋🏻♀️ this is a great video to help people starting their journey , I have been using sinking funds this year and it is really paying off. The timeframe examples you give are great too , sometimes I just coast and put in a certain fund as and when I choose without a deadline but creating a deadline and working on that amount would complete that fund sooner , brilliant , thank you 🥰💜💕🌸💕

I just happened to look at your community page and said a lot of interesting things. Sometimes I forget to look there when I’m just watching videos. I think my biggest savings goal is to pay my house insurance for each six months this year. And in 2026 would like to be able to pay the entire year at one time. Also lot of people think this is morbid, but not to me. I think is one of best legacies you can leave your child/children. I want to prep and pre-pay for our funeral arrangements so that my daughter does not have to make all those arrangements. I bought cemetery plots a couple of years ago, my purchase will be the monument. ages are 68 and 70 and you just never know we both have some chronic illnesses and may live for several more years or just through the next minute. My husband insulin level dropped too 44 a few days ago and he was comatose for a while. Big prod from God that I need to be diligent. Also have some debt that still needs to be paid off. I don’t want that to be haunting her, either.
