Kind deeds change Lives. Jonathan you assisted me to reach out to a young man who works for me only to be told he is homeless and living with HIV. I was always shocked at what he had for lunch everyday peanut butter sandwiches and no fruit. He now has a brilliant salad with fish or beef to keep his weight up as he is so very thin. This young man has taught me resilience and compassion. I shared with him that when I was attending university I had a serious drug habit for 3 years. He is such a brilliant guy and worker we found him a studio apartment and took him to my Doctor to sort out which meds he required and made that happen as our gift to him. Hospital insurance is now built in to his wages after paying him 50% more per weekly. Australia.

I’m obsessed with your hair care line. I’ve gone through the gamut of other products. After using Amika which is what my stylist uses, my hair hated it, so greasy and heavy with product. I switched to JvN and my hair loveee It. Trying to work it into the budget so I can get some air dry cream and other products to add to my shampoo and conditioner regime. 🖤🖤🖤

Really enjoyed hearing about how you got started doing hair. Absolutely love you! I went to school in your home town (back before you were born when it was Quincy College). Tower pizza was my absolute favorite (at that time it was right next to the college campus), but that was a major splurge on my college student budget). We hung out on Quinsippi Island and drove across the river to Iowa where it was legal for 18 year olds to drink. You also went to hair school with one of my friends (Kate Buchen). I have a child who is non-binary and I absolutely love that you are out there being an incredible role model for enby community!
