Learn about me through my DNA
Also some stats about you guys
Genetic test done by 23andme www.23andme.com , not a sponsor. It's a bit expensive. I don't know if I would recommend it unless if you wanted to know about a disease and it was approved by doctors/health boards. If you get the test and doctors don't trust it it might be a waste of money. Also it may not be trustworthy.
Foot Notes
Regarding soap
Soap makes hair puffy. Makes skin itchy and dry. But without soap... nothing bad happens.
When I get smelly pits, I find it's how hard I rub that makes the smell go away and stay away. Not how much soap I use.
I think there's oils on skin that dirt can stick to so soap should make cleaning easier. And scents can just make any smells covered up. But for me soap seems to have more negatives than positives.
Still use soap on my hands though. I wash my hands a lot.

I don't either for my hair. My hair is exactly as it was when I was using shampoo, if not better. After a while of going without, your scalp's natural oils compensate.

I don't think in any of the commonly said things, or in all as the situation deems necessary. it's just nothingness and then: "oh that's a good ideal", "Why am i doing this?", the answer to a question, or I "see" what i'm trying to think about in 3D space, equations as 3D text overlaid on what I'm looking at..

My thoughts are fairly tactile, I think. Not exactly dependent on the sensation of touch, but very much on the perception of form. I guess I think in shapes. It's really fascinating to hear about other people's perception of the world, too.

i think in words, when I was smaller my thinking was basically talking to an audience, I have stopped doing that, now I just think in words and talk to myself in head, I can "see" things I imagine but not really see, I know what it looks like but not generate the picture of it in my head

Also, how could I help with the translations? I'd be quite interested in helping
@ThisPlaceChannel
@ThisPlaceChannel 8 жыл бұрын
KZbin has a thing where you can submit translations for videos now and we pass off on them. It doesn't keep a log of who submitted them though and it doesn't give credit. I wish it did so translators can learn to translate better if people discover mistakes, so mistakes can be fixed, and so I can give credit/money to people who take the time to do that. Translations aren't something I've thought a lot about but I want to make that easier and give some sort of incentive. I think I want to approach KZbin to see if they can further change their tools to make facilitate stuff like that.

oh and the Neandertal valley is in Germany, near where I live. In German we have no "th" /θ/ sounds so we pronounce it Neandertal /niˈændərˌtɑːl/ but since it's an English word too, Neanderthal /niˈændərˌθɔːl/ is fine. quote from wikipedia: " German does not have any dental fricatives (as English th). The th sounds, which the English language still has, disappeared on the continent in German with the consonant shifts between the 8th and the 10th centuries.[74] It is sometimes possible to find parallels between English and German by replacing the English th with d in German: "Thank" → in German Dank, "this" and "that" → dies and das, "thou" (old 2nd person singular pronoun) → du, "think" → denken, "thirsty" → durstig and many other examples. Likewise, the gh in Germanic English words, pronounced in several different ways in modern English (as an f, or not at all), can often be linked to German ch: "to laugh" → lachen, "through" and "thorough" → durch, "high" → hoch, "naught" → nichts, "light" → leicht or Licht, "sight" → Sicht, "daughter" → Tochter, "neighbour" → Nachbar." FYI B)
