why aren't you proud of her for losing weight? That was the whole point and why do you have it in quotation marks like the phrase losing weight is something that doesn't actually exist?
@vliciouss
@vliciouss 3 ай бұрын
@@aspenisthebestexactly. Anybody can make healthy choices, but it’s another to workout and lose the unwanted weight. Morgan wanted to lose weight ! People make it seem like a bad thing nowadays (I’m assuming people afraid of being ‘fat phobic’/politically incorrect)
@savannahhargis
@savannahhargis 3 ай бұрын
Lol, no one acts like it doesn’t exist. Morgan said it wasn’t just her clothes not fitting, it was waaaay more than that. She feels like she’s able to live another day. Not once did she say “I’m so happy I’m skinnier.” She talked about how much better she felt, and the obstacles it took to overcome that- she talked about how she was constantly avoiding problems, now she’s facing them and solving them. It was more than losing the weight, and I put it in quotations because everyone throws that phrase around.

I think when I was bigger, I avoided thinking about my weight and just didn't care. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and have gained about 30 lbs since having my thyroid removed. @melissak8892
@melissak8892 3 ай бұрын
@mermaiddiyartist8119 I can only speak for myself, but of course I'll tell you what I'm doing! I cut out processed foods. No bread, no sweets, VERY limited alcohol. Lower carb but natural whole foods. No marketed diet or "low carb" foods. Lots of nuts, avocado, beans, eggs, vegetables, etc...probably just the standard recommended stuff. Unlike Morgan, I prefer to work out alone, and I'm on a budget. I do, what are now probably considered "vintage" dvds in my living room, haha. Low impact yoga, pilates, barre, dance, lifting light weights and my own body weight type dvds or free youtube videos. I do that 5 days a week and do landscaping in my yard, beach walking, and dancing to K-pop in my kitchen. It''s all pretty low key. I'm very lazy and give myself lot of opportunity to recuperate, which I think is important. None of that is probably that useful for others to read, but I will say a few things I'm doing that maybe aren't typical, that are things it's taken me decades to figure out. 1. The first month, I didn't think about incorporating workouts yet at all. I was coming off of 3 pretty sedentary years. I focused on my dietary habits. I get easily overwhelmed and then burn out with too much change all at once. Plus, it was easier and more satisfying to start exercising once I'd trimmed a bit of superficial fluff. I felt more mobile and flexible and didn't get as discouraged. 2. I only weigh myself once a month or so, just to mentally mark my progress. I tend to fixate and be very hard on myself. Weighing myself too often was destroying my motivation when the scale didn't budge for long periods of time. 3. I don't keep a workout or food log. Because of my obsessive ways, writing down every little thing I did or consumed actually prompted me to overeat and probably over exercise. It's unsustainable for me because I can really fixate. I just happily eat when I get hungry. I have no meal times. I measure nothing. Some days it's more and some days it's less, but I don't overthink it either way. I feel like I've never had such a positive relationship with food before since I've decided to be casual about it. 4. I had a few long plateaus, esp after the initial 12lb drop, and like Morgan said, have patience. Just sticking with it even though it feels totally fruitless is the only way to succeed. That one is probably common knowledge, but it's priceless. Please, no one come for me for giving "bad" advice, haha. I'm no expert. I'm only speaking for myself with this since someone was curious. Every body and mind is different. I'm not a body builder or an athlete. I'm just looking to have a healthy and balanced lifestyle again. I feel like I finally know what works for me through years of trial and error. Edit: sorry for the essay, hahaha, guess my coffee kicked in. 😅

Thank you so so much for openly talking about being a tall girlie weighing in the 200 lbs ballpark. It feels like there’s an assumption that above 200 means your body shape would fit into plus size clothes, but us tall gals pack that weight in differently idk 🥴 It’s just always felt like taboo to talk about, so I’ve never related to anyone’s health and fitness transformation until seeing you. I've been so depressed and unmotivated about it just wishing I could go back. It's so hard to find wl videos of people the same size as me so every time I see a video I'm like "yea so what it will never be the same for me!" but I am LITERALLY your starting weight in this so watching this, I was so happy. I haven't been able to get over my gym anxiety for a month but 10 mins into this I was so motivated I'm actually getting ready to go to the gym right this moment lmaooo I really just need to thank you so much. I also just need to say that you being transparent about your weight has really helped me so much because even before you said how much you weighed this time last year, I thought your body looked so amazing and mine could never look like that. And then hearing that you were the same weight as I am rn it just really helps me feel better and actually consider maybe the way I see myself could be majority in my head. So really really really thank u and PROUD OF U💗

Relatable ! I’ve gained so much weight the past year and a half. None of my jeans fit. My tops are tight. I’m glad you didn’t let yourself down. I’m currently on my “ fit back into my jeans pre weight gain” journey ( 2 months into it) and I won’t let myself down . Good job chickaaa. You did the damn thing 🎉

I reeeealy appreciate this video so much. I have struggled my whole life with my weight and have lost a lot last year. But seeing this video is actually so motivating! It was not triggering whatsoever. It was about you working out - hard. Struggling the whole time. Not about the food you eat. It was about the fight. Thank you Morgan!

SO beyond proud of you! This is huge and for you to feel comfortable enough to share to encourage others is a truly beatiful thing. You physically look so healthy but man your face truly says it all. You are glowing and you can tell your smile is genuine now. To say you wouldn't be fun to hang out with is truly a fib. You are seriously so similar in personality to me. I wish you nothing but the best.

Seeing this and seeing your journey has given us the push we needed. Seeing you do this for you, and slowly and not so extreme is what we needed. I've struggled with going crazy hard then quitting. Thank you so much and congrats on your journey!! I love you morgan thank you for be you and being real, youre my cyber best friend.

Hey Morgan, i know you probably wont see this.. but you are amazing and an inspiration to many girlies. You did this yourself with many challenges such as your beautiful home being done up and issues along side it, mental health issues with body image and still pushing through all while single and glowing! Myself is the way you were before your transformation, tired, binge eating, no care about myself, clothing not fitting and i need to change this. You have proved anyone can do this regardless of situation and i cant put into words how happy i am to see your videos. When you started this last year i remember watching and taking notes but seeing the progress today has gave me the push to stick to it and improve my own health and inner soul! Thank you Morgan 💖💖💖💖

i lost 70 pounds myself because i gained weight over the pandemic and then lost it all last year and when you started talking about being more self concious than ever its so real!! and the fear of gaining it all back, on top of everyone in your life commenting on how good you look. my coworkers were always talking about how good i was doing and how good i looked which really made my thoughts on my body worse. lol i work at trader joes and the access to good food was my main weight loss.

You have helped me so much through the last year especially. I watched all of your videos multiple times when I was in the hospital earlier this year and you never failed to put a smile on my face. You talking about your struggles with body image has really made me feel less alone and has helped me more than you know. What you are doing is positively inspiring so many people out there. Anyways, I’m not sure if you will see this but I wanted to try because you are my all time favourite. Also I literally cannot wait for the house tour!
