This tour was incredibly interesting. I was a little shocked at how different sine things were. Like the tub and how shallow the sink was. But I was glued to this entire video so great job on your tour!!

Big ups from a Trini. I'm looking to move to Osaka at some point. Question, what city are you in and do you find it easy to build friendships with locals? My next question is how are the markets, are you able to find Plantains, Guavas, and Mango at the local store?

Lol hi there Justin! Thanks for watching I Live in Yamaguchi prefecture and I do have a hard time making friends lol but I spoke more in detail about this in another video of mine 'what I wish I knew before moving to Japan." Also plantains are really hard to find here and I've never seen a guava lol mangoes are also super expensive for some reason and if you are really interested in the markets you can check out my Japanese grocery shopping video for more information and to see for yourself!!

As a former JET myself (Yurihama Cho, in Tottori Ken) 2004-2005 - you had me cracking up so much! I too inherited a lot of stuff from my predecessor. You really had a traditional Japanese apato! I piled those futons 2-3 high ba ha ha ha. Loved the perfume collection too. Makes me remember when I would wear some to my Jr. High. Some of the students actually asked me why I wore it. And yes, tatami floors are super hard to keep clean. Stay safe there during this pandemic, sister! Thanks for the great video! Ganbatte kudasai!
