Also Lavendar oil or castor to oil my scalp and I use a shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie to moisture my hair with twist-outs.

Just found you today and over the moon because your hair is almost exactly like mine! My hair gets single strand knots like the dickens! I've definitely found keeping my hair stretched works soo much better to prevent that. The weekly washing is something new I've found in the past couple months too that's a lot easier to maintain. Thanks for doing this!

Hi! Your hair is just absolutely gorgeous, makes any girl jealous lol. But you had said that your trying to find a way to moisturize your hair while its stretched and what I've found is that oils will help you. A little bit of olive or coconut oil a daily on your hair will keep it moisturized on a day to day basis. The reason why I say those specific oils is because they actually penetrate the hair shaft to moisturize the hair. I personally have found that they keep my hair soft and moisturized when I don't want to use anything wet. +KayDee Tv

When you wash your hair or when you were transitioning and washed your hair did it get matted? Mine does every time I wash it without braids. I tried it once with twist ( two strand) and it was so matted and knotted together that it took me 3 days to get it out especially the crown area. the crown area took 6-10 hours starting and stopping it was two hours straight with one piece of my crown I had to stop and this was after pre-pooing and during rinsing. I had to wait until my hair dried completely almost 35 hours later.

Pls answer this. After wash ur hair and it shrinks, do u blow dry ( if yes is the setting on the blow dryer hot or cool?) or do u stretch ur hair in a particular way?
@D4NkQu33n4209 жыл бұрын
Good question
@KayDeeTV9 жыл бұрын
After I wash my hair I let it air dry most of the way in large twists with no products. Then when it's about 80% dry, I moisturize it then blow dry it on medium heat, high air flow. After I blow dry each section I'll use a cool shot of air then twist up the section and move on to the next.... But I don't always blow dry my hair so if I don't I'll let it air dry the same way and when it's 80%dry I'll moisturize each section then finger detangle/comb my hair and twist my hair into smaller sections to dry and stretch out more before I style my hair. I really hope that answers your question.

@yaasmeenwhitney69308 жыл бұрын
It's basically defining your natural curls as much as they can be. If you don't have curls (straight hair) or in the case of 4c hair (in which it more kinks than curls) then it's impossible as you have nothing to define.
