I'm one of those people who gets impatient when I'm watching videos and tries to watch a 14 minute video in 4 minutes 😂 That being said, I love the way you do your videos! I feel like you're not wasting anyone's time and delivering the info efficiently! Anyone who thinks it's too fast can just rewind and watch that part again. Anyways, I love it!

Girl you just proved all those wrong that said wash and go's on 4c hair can't be done. It can you just have to find the right method to make it work. I love your hair and I love this video so much. Your results are fabulous. Go girl.

Girl. That's why when I chop mine off, I'm considering keeping it short and just having those cute, peasy knots, cuz ain't no way I'm doing this for 2hrs, even for a hairstyle that last a week. Maybe if it lasted 2wks., but not no one week. I'm chopping my hair off for convenience. Not to create more work.

Lol I understand but after all that love and care we give the outcome is amazing and unique asf. I go to school with a lot of people who have naturally straight hair and they are always amazed, in awe, and sometimes a little jealous when I come in there with my super curly 4c wash and go's 🌍😋

That lippie color looks so good on you! & tbh I don't even call it a wng anymore, I just call it defined curls because wng is literally washing and going (which is wayy easier) but, I must try the twisting halfway technique. My defined curls never stay for a week so if I do plan on doing this technique, hopefully it'll last a week.

+Essence Love I'm not a fan of Eco styling gel. It leaves a wire residue and a lot of build up on my hair. But I do use other gels when I want it to be more stretched since my hair shrinks a lot. But you'd be surprised what a good deep conditioning and rinsing with apple cider vinegar will do. It make my curls separate so easily, and I have more 4b that doesn't separate easily.

+Laetistyle I dont do this every day. Inn total this takes me 2 hours to do and last for a week.
@BklynBabe
@BklynBabe 8 жыл бұрын
if you are looking for a faster technique, try the Dickey method. you can look up Anthony Dickey or hairrules on KZbin. Basically what I do is wash or cowash, condition/detangle, apply product(s) to my saturated hair in the shower, and shake. I like to air dry, but you can use a hair dryer or diffuser. It takes me about 10-15 minutes (mostly because I like to enjoy my shower though, lol). Honestly, I can't even do this method, I lose too much hair from all that manipulation.
@Laetistyle
@Laetistyle 8 жыл бұрын
+LiveNaturallyLove ok thank you for your answer. I thought you had to do that everyday.. it is time consuming so it's great that you have to do that once a week :)
@Laetistyle

+BklynBabe thank you for your answer!. I have never heard about this technic I will give it a try. I prefer to air dry too because my hair has a little heat damage in the front are but maybe a wash and go is not for me because my hair is not even because of the heat damage. And I don't want to cut it for now.. Scisors scares me LOL

Of course I think it looks nice however what id your definition of nice because if by "nice" you mean curly then no. 4c is beautiful but it doesn't have a curl pattern and that's okay. This girls hair is pretty but it isn't 4c. You can take wonderful care of 4c hair and it won't curl like this girls. Her curl size is too large.

love you and your energy girl but this isnt a wash and go this is a curly hair routine.... these youtubers will spend 3 house on their hair and still insist on calling it a wash and go... its cute tho

A wash and go it setting your hair in it natural texture. The time it may take to achieve that is irrelevant to whether it's a wash n go or not.

you do realize that many women with natural hair cant just wash their hair and leave? taking time to moisturize and define your hair doesn't mean its not a wash and go. "wash and go" doesn't have to be literal.

4c hair alone doesn't have a curl pattern, so of course it will take a lot of manipulation to make it appear curly.
@crazy4potatos

Angie's World it does have a curl pattern or else she would have to twist, braid, or curl her hair with heat for curls to appear. The manipulation she is doing is to keep from frizzing and shrinking.

Wow the twist method seems really useful. I have 4a and 4b textures in my hair and they are honestly so different from each other. Like one part has a small s curl and the other is coily. I think the shea butter and twisting the roots is gonna be key tonight for when I try this wash and go ✊🏾
