I'm one of those people who gets impatient when I'm watching videos and tries to watch a 14 minute video in 4 minutes 😂 That being said, I love the way you do your videos! Girl. That's why when I chop mine off, I'm considering keeping it short and just having those cute, peasy knots, cuz ain't no way I'm doing this for 2hrs, even for a hairstyle that last a week. Maybe if it lasted 2wks., but not no one week. I'm chopping my hair off for convenience. Not to create more work.

Lol I understand but after all that love and care we give the outcome is amazing and unique asf. I go to school with a lot of people who have naturally straight hair and they are always amazed, in awe, and sometimes a little jealous when I come in there with my super curly 4c wash and go's 🌍😋

That lippie color looks so good on you! & tbh I don't even call it a wng anymore, I just call it defined curls because wng is literally washing and going (which is wayy easier) but, I must try the twisting halfway technique. My defined curls never stay for a week so if I do plan on doing this technique, hopefully it'll last a week.

@LiveNaturallyLove8 жыл бұрын
Essence Love hey love! I did but I did not like it AT ALL!!!
@thatsnellox38958 жыл бұрын
+Essence Love I'm not a fan of Eco styling gel. It leaves a wire residue and a lot of build up on my hair. But I do use other gels when I want it to be more stretched since my hair shrinks a lot. But you'd be surprised what a good deep conditioning and rinsing with apple cider vinegar will do. It make my curls separate so easily, and I have more 4b that doesn't separate easily.

Are you doing this every single day ? Your routine is very long ! Do you know a faster technique that works ?
@LiveNaturallyLove9 жыл бұрын
+Laetistyle I dont do this every day. Inn total this takes me 2 hours to do and last for a week.
@BklynBabe9 жыл бұрын
if you are looking for a faster technique, try the Dickey method. you can look up Anthony Dickey or hairrules on KZbin. Basically what I do is wash or cowash, condition/detangle, apply product(s) to my saturated hair in the shower, and shake. I like to air dry, but you can use a hair dryer or diffuser. It takes me about 10-15 minutes (mostly because I like to enjoy my shower though, lol). Honestly, I can't even do this method, I lose too much hair from all that manipulation.
@Laetistyle9 жыл бұрын
+LiveNaturallyLove ok thank you for your answer. I thought you had to do that everyday.. it is time consuming so it's great that you have to do that once a week :)
@Laetistyle9 жыл бұрын
+BklynBabe thank you for your answer!. I have never heard about this technic I will give it a try. I prefer to air dry too because my hair has a little heat damage in the front are but maybe a wash and go is not for me because my hair is not even because of the heat damage. And I don't want to cut it for now.. Scisors scares me LOL

Of course I think it looks nice however what id your definition of nice because if by "nice" you mean curly then no. 4c is beautiful but it doesn't have a curl pattern and that's okay. This girls hair is pretty but it isn't 4c. You can take wonderful care of 4c hair and it won't curl like this girls. Her curl size is too large.

Logging this away for future reference! I don't own a diffuser attachment, but have seen that it's used in many wash n' go videos. Your results are awesome!! You are beautiful!
