I remember how I had my morning routine with my Ex Husband & my 2 boys. I used to get up at 4 & prepare my Ex Husband's lunch/cooler then get myself ready for work then get my Boys ready for daycare. When they were in Elementary School, i worked from 7-5:30. It was rough. I would come home during my lunch hour to do laundry & get things prepared for Dinner. How i miss those days. I miss my Boys being young little men. Granted, i have 4 Grandchildren who are staying with us during this pandemic. But since I injured my back, it's hard to not be able to really enjoy everything they do.

If homeschooling gets challenging as they get older, the abeka videos are awesome!! My son started the videos around 3rd grade. He loves it so much! The teachers are really sweet.

I second this! My son is in first grade and has done abeka video since kindergarten. They are way more thorough than I could ever be and the way they teach concepts and interact with the kids is a joy to watch. My son loves being part of the "class" and his "friends". He actually cried when k5 was over because he said he would miss his friends and teacher. Too cute!

Yes, homeschooling is not exactly easy and requires so much dedication, but it is so wonderful for the kids. You’re doing a fantastic job with your boys. I love how you start your day early and get it all done before the day drags on.

I can truly say if you can and are able to home school your children it is an amazing learning experience for them. I realise not everyone can or is able to do this. I love waking up early, to do devotionals and spend time with God! I need that time, before my kids wake up, or nothing seems to go right. We are so blessed, that we can spend time with God, anytime, anywhere! I have been trying to "homeschool" my 5 youngest children, but it has been a challenge. I love how your husband gave you a big hug before he left for work. Your boys are so sweet too. I have four grown kids, and I am so happy that they are friends and love to hang out together, when they are in the same state that is, and even though some have families of their own. I always wanted them to stay close. Your boys are so good together and look like best buddies

I live in a northern state where blueberries are abundant and grow wild in the summer. We pick them for months....freeze them and use them all winter. My favorite breakfast is blueberries, high protein vanilla Greek yogurt with almond granola and hot green tea. Love your videos.

I also love to start my day with prayer and devotional time...it prepares my heart for whatever the day has for me....its been hard staying in all day everyday but i've learned so much about myself and love this intimate bonding time with my family...i even tell my husband that i think i will miss these moments once all this is done...(saw you're instagram 😉)

Cut up fruit and cream of wheat very healthy... and fast ... but together as a family it's scrambled eggs homemade waffles or pancakes with whip cream syrup and fruit on it and choice of cranberry juice apple juice orange juice or grape juice

Love this so much! I wish I could get up that early for some quite time with the Lord. My kids would join me. Which isn’t a big deal but it’s hard to focus with their precious snuggles! I have the blue version of your office chair. I realized that I was not going to be able to get work done from home in my awful old chair, so I went to Office Depot at the beginning of the shut down and picked out this new one. I love it. It's a gaming chair. Big improvement over the chair I had before.

I miss those days. My three girls are now 15, 13, and 9 and homeschool (with Abeka! 😊) takes around 5 hours. And now we have a sweet surprise God decided to bless us with, our baby boy is 1 year old and into EVERYTHING, lol. Can’t turn my back for two seconds! I wish my life could be that clean, tidy, and organized. Hubby is home now, he lost his job last week, so that’s added another “element” to my day. 😊 God bless, stay safe, and soak up these precious and uncomplicated homeschool days while your boys are small. ❤️ They’ll be doing long division before you know it and that beautiful hair of yours will be in your hands constantly, lol. 😂
