It's not just you. I'm what's known as a social introvert. I THRIVE in being alone (or with just a few loved ones) but am totally able to hold my own in social scenarios - and even enjoy them to some extent. Remember that all things are on a spectrum, and no one needs to be pigeon-holed into a descriptor. The world is far more complex.

I was more an introvert as a child. As a young grown up I wanted to be more extrovert and tried to behave like that. Now I am over 60 and I permit myself to be more introvert again and enjoy time alone. But I love to be with my family and close friends as well. Thank you for the video😊

We’re called “ambiverts”, and it makes a fun challenge. I want to socialize and I don’t. I take it a day at a time.

Well said! I think most introverts like other people; they just need more time to recuperate and recharge on their own after socializing, whereas extroverts recharge more by being with other people than by being alone. Some people confuse being shy with being introverted but the two don't necessarily go together.

The older you get the more you can flip from extrovert to introvert and back again. Just remember that extroverts get their energy from interacting with others and introverts get their energy from reflection within or alone time. It all depends on how you refuel to engage and do the deep work throughout your day.

I don't usually comment on any videos but I can actually say looking at your videos just hits different than any other videos on KZbin. You just have this clean vibe to you, you're neat, and looking at your vids makes me feel idk calm, like, I know it won't be just another trash video that's designed to just be braindead watching it to kill time. Like this minimalism concept that you do really has flowed into your personality, like you have a clean, relaxed vibe and it's got something meaningful to it instead of being all about materialistic and distracting yourself from what really matters. Idk if I explained it well but I look up to you

Now just what i need! Love your openness to your audience. Appreciate your authenticity. I was afraid of change too but now that I've embraced it, never felt so much peace, tranquility, honesty, joy in my life now more than ever. Realized that yes it made me uncomfortable but moving forward completely remove any regrets and made so much sense in the end in that "this is where i wanna be" , I found my good place indeed! Your videos helped me a lot in that aspect!

Being authentic, living your life for yourself and not caring what others think of you is so much easier and enjoyable. I never was overly worried about what people thought if me but with age I definitely don’t care. The only people’s opinions of me that I really care about is my close family and friends. There’s a great saying.....What others think of me is none of my business......I LOVE IT.💖

Videos like this remind me of why I am the way I am because I can resonate with a lot of what you've mentioned, and I definitely understand that feeling of becoming "too much" of an introvert. It's easy for me at least to get too caught up in my own thoughts, or only keeping one part of my brain open and engaged with others, but not fully listening to what they're saying. Thank you for your realness and transparency, Ronald 😊❤

Ronald - weekly your videos are such food for thought and I always leave your videos feeling feed. This one hit home and made me think about how I dealt with " regrets" . As I have gotten older I don't see these things as regrets ; just lessons I chose to learn the HARD WAY. What matter is that you learned and move forward . It takes time but also keep in mind that with experience you cut through the noise and traps a lot faster . Thank you for all you do on this channel

You can be outgoing and an introvert. We usually define introverts as shy people but it really means we feel more energized during our quiet time. Extroverted people feel energized around people. I'm outgoing and love interacting with people but it drains me so much.

Please realize that there should be a different word for regret. I think it's too strong a word for things that we believe or that occur during our periods of not knowing, as long as we become aware because of them. We should never regret things that have moved us forward in our journey of self-actualization.
