Dear Steve, I came accross your videos on Evernote and I so love your professionality and enthusiasm. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPORT and making my life much easier! (I am a newbie to all that tec stuff...) I was wondering if I could ask you a question? As I am German, but live in Italy and work a lot in English, is there a way to change the input language in the speech-to-text function? Thank you so much. DANA :)

Steve, thanks so much for your instructive videos on Evernote. I love this program but there is so much too it... I have been using email to send to Evernote lately, and I remember you had a video which included how to use tags and # to send your emails to Evenote so that the mail went into specified notebooks with tags. Can you tell me where to find this information? Thanks again.

I just can't seem to fully understand Evernote. When I think I got it - it does weird things to confuse me. I need to use Notebooks and sub notebooks and so on. And stacking doesn't cut it. Very confusing. I've read that many people leave it for its complexity. I'm about to chuck it and use OneNote which comes with my Outlook 2013 suite. It's interesting that Microsoft faciliates Evernote into the Outlook platform so easily. I would assume it's their competition. At any rate I'm now going to open OneNote and start trying that one.
@dottotech10 жыл бұрын
I think you are trying to make a hirearchical structure from Evernote, it does not work well that way, it is search based. Try and get your head around using tags as opposed to sorting by notebooks. Some people don't have any notebooks and just find everything you're looking for by searching within Evernote. If you are the sort of person that needs to see if physical structure, OneNote will definitely be a better option. But don't give up on evernote just yet, see if you can get your head around the idea that you don't need to see the physical structure for the notebooks, but rather can just search for what you need when you need it, that might work for you.

That last feature on the Evernote web clipper was really helpful! I've used it before, but I didn't know about the web search related notes! Although working it out on Safari browser is a bit different. First you just click the Evernote button on the browser window, and go to your account name at the bottom to configure the settings. Very useful video.

I've had Evernote Basic for years and have been baffled by it! After watching just a couple of your videos, I upgraded to the next level...Maybe later I'll get to the "Premium" level but for now, you have shown me plenty! And thank you for that. I'm going to re-watch your segment on using the voice feature, as I never knew about that and boy, could I use that! One question.... is that voice feature only available with the paid versions of evernote? I cannot find where to engage to voice to text feature, but I will review your video to see what I missed. Thanks again and btw, you have me as a new subscriber!
