I opted for the Banshee 9mm which I added an Aimpoint CompM5 and a Yankee Hill R9 suppressor. It will rock and roll. At my age I just love stuff that works.

I've put roughly 2k rounds through mine, never cleaned it, never found an ammo it doesn't like, never had a single malfunction. The fun factor is amazing. Too many times I've looked at the open bolt and said, there's no way that was 17 rounds. I've got a Sig shake awake red dot on it and obsidian can. Hard to beat as a home defense option.

I think that the quasi-bull pup design of the Ruger LC carbine makes it sexy because of the shorter overall length despite the 16” barrel. +P .45 ACP out of a 16” barrel also is pretty cool. 😎

Tons of them use Glock mags, fpc uses shield mags... Those are really the only options I'm aware of for mag compatibility.

Sportsmans Warehouse has the S&W FPC in green. After seeing you're review of and this video with the S&W FPC I checked out the black one. I like the feel of it. The big difference between the black and the green is the green has 1 17 round mag and 2 23 round mags and a sling pack. Thank you for your hard use review!

Yours is one of the best and straightforward channels I watch. I like all your points here...unfortunately in Canada, things like the MPX are banned. The FPC is fantastic - mine runs everything. I would think the FX9 deserves an honourable mention. Controls are great, ergos are great and the take down and cleaning is a breeze. I love the love and fun you and wife have working on the videos together and joking around. It's wonderful to see a young couple working together on these projects. Would be nice if there was a way to bleep out the occasional cursing so my kids can watch too...

I love my Vector. Managed to talk myself out of using it as a prop for a Chronicom Halloween costume. For those interested, that have never seen the crazy bolt action present, you can Google "Kriss Vector gif" and see it in motion. An added bonus is, 30 rounds of .45 in a mag is a weapon in itself LOL. Another excellent video!

Like a few others, I'm a little surprised B&T didn't make the list. Very practical. My main criteria is something that folds up small, FAST reloads, and suppressor ready. Bonus points for Glock mags simply due to availability, side arm compatibility, and any looming bans in the future. The Kriss is a little too big for my tastes. Something about the MP5 dead man's click scares the crap out of me. Puts you on the back foot and means you'll have to draw your pistol THAT much faster.

I have love my Extar EP9. I got it before you even reviewed it. For the cost, it stands alone. I have the gen 1 which looks a bit cleaner then the newer models. For home defense its great and cant go wrong with 32 round mags.

Very surprised he did not have the B&T APC9 Pro on the list since his review of it was so glowing (and I agree). In fact, my wife & I both absolutely LOVE the APC9 Pro. It's like point and click because it's so accurate and such little recoil because of the gas buffer. Plus, my buddy from Defense re-zero'd it and I can now hit a bowling ball from 115 yards out. I just realized: I don't think we've even had a single malfunction with it after probably 5,000 rounds over 2 years with both high and low quality ammo put through it -- AND we've never cleaned it! The only thing I wish I had for it is metal mags. Please let me know if they make those 🙏

I built a 5.5 inch 9mm pcc...grid defense od green upper black psa lower all pins,charging handle,grip(skeletonized),brace are od green,black buffer tube,titanium nitride bcg,rise armament flat 3.5lb single stage trigger,and a sightmark red dot(I know I know I'm going to upgrade to a holosun,don't beat me up on that one) and finally a folding brace adapter...she runs like a dream no issues very reliable

I love my SP9A3. After I went balls to walls with it and arguably spent too much on it and essentially turned it into an entirely different gun all together with the A3 CZ lower and mostly ever other mod you can do lol so I love the Stribog...that is entirely different than stock. I have a Rave 434 trigger in it. Gotta say as far as a drop-in goes. Perfect glass break extremely short reset 👌

MP5 in my area is close to $3,000 regularly. So I went with the ZF5 and honestly love it. Had it special ordered and paid nearly $1,000 less. Best gun in my collection (even more than my Vector and PS90)

I've had the opportunity to own and shoot the Sig MPX, CZ Scorpion, and the the CMMG MK17. Like everybody else would love to shoot the MP7, MP5. The MPX is still my favorite. I always like these videos because it helps people narrow down their choices given a certain price point. Thanks for that Honest Outlaw. I still wish Sig would make an MPX with either a P320 mag, or have a conversion kit.

I don't understand the point of single feed mags in PCC's. They're harder to load, harder to reload, less reliable with extended mags, and either have no bolt hold open or have unreliable BHO. But I guess you can pull the mag out of your sidearm and use it in your PCC.

@@otterconnor942 That would be why. I think a lot of civilians who want a PCC but are looking to save $ and consolidate resources would like this. And since the military adopted the P320, and I guess some LE have also adopted it this would make sense to me. Although clearly a badass PCC, never understood why the military adopted the MP7 for the spec ops community when the MPX is Sig as well. There is something to be said for consolidating resources and functionality, but I can also see why you wouldn't want to put all your eggs in one basket either. Just my thoughts.

I wanted a 416 after that show. Settled for a 22LR one and the damn thing was so off with sights I never wanted a full size anymore. The umarex arx 160 was fantastic and quite accurate. Yes a bulky 22. But outta 3 separate ones I had it ran amazing as a pistol and rifle variant. I regret letting them go.

extar is my fav gun ever and ive shot a lot of guns (family is FFL buys and trades constantly). For 450$ its so fucking fun. I put a holosun 512c on it, its the gun i give to every newby who comes to the range. No recoil, simple to operate, put dot on target and out to 200 yards it hits everytime. Also takes my glock mags which is convenient

I like my pcc. Got it on clearance for $600. Msrp is 900. TNW ASR chambered in 45. Has conversion kits for 9mm, 10mm, 357, 410 and 40. Barrel is threaded, takes glock mags. Fits in a backpack along with ammo, mags, tools, dot sight, etc. Fun gun at the range as long as you don't use the mag that comes with the gun. It's a 3rd party mag from SGM Tactical. The springs are absolute trash. I made the mistake of buying 3 spare mags from them and none of them feed reliably. I found cheaper mags that actually work properly and have higher capacity from a company called ETS. Plus, they look better than the SGM mags.

The MKE 30 round MP5 magazines are excellent. Chrome folllowers, just as nice and reliable as the German H&K mags. I’ve seen them for as low as $35 each to my door

I got the rifle Vector (because I wasn't sure how the brace / sbr stuff was going to pan out) and, while fun, it is heavier and longer than my AR-15 so I'm still hunting for a home defense pdw that isn't legally questionable.

Loved my FPC. I only traded it because I didn't have anything that shared the mags. Agree with you though, the S&W Response is a disappointment. S&W has a product recall on the bolt- apparently out-of-battery discharge is an issue. Ouch.

I prefer 45 ACP. I bought a Kriss pistol in 45 and SBR'd it so I could add the original folding stock. I had a box full of Glock 21 mags. That was about the time they came out with the braces. To shoot 9 I have a Colt AR15 and a HK94. I bought when you could convert 1 to full auto yourself for $200.
