I would totally watch more collaborations with your daughter. I love kids' art. I actually used to have a Tumblr account devoted to it called "Kids Art is Real Art" or some such thing. I have a five year old grandaughter, as it happens, who is turning out to be be a really talented artist (like her dad) so this particularly resonates with me. My five year old grandson is also an artist but he's not a monster kid. He's got ASD traits and is currently obsessed with church bells and church buildings (he pointed one out today in one of the first videos of yours I watched). He does beautifully imaginative churches but it's pretty much all he draws. I went to their house one day and the table was covered with his church drawings. Before it was cars, and after that it was windmills. All these are still obsessions for him but the churches are his current obsession. He was mad at me for watching more of your videos because it was distracting him from watching one of the recent church bell ringing videos he video recorded on my husband's phone. When they come over, my husband takes them home in time to catch the 5 o'clock church bells ringing. Oz gets the phone at that point and records it from the car. Don't know why I'm sharing this with you. I guess I feel like you'll get it?

When he learned there are tons of windmills in the Netherlands he drew countless pictures with tulips and windmills explaining "this is Holland".

Love this! It's always fun to see renditions of kids' creations. Hope to see more, Beth's cute as a button :) Also a little tip for attaching hair - use pva glue and a tiny brush. Dab on some glue, stick the fibers on, then brush more glue onto the ends to coat them. And if the glue dries too glossy for your liking you can always dry brush a little paint to disguise it. It's a little finicky but I imagine it would be a lot less annoying than super glue.

@@Dan_Does Weird! It usually does the trick for me. But I usually use soft things like brushed out acrylic yarn or wool, so maybe the texture makes a difference. You may have needed to really glob on the glue, in which case the superglue was definitely the better option.

I can only imagine trying to tread the line of producing content and trying to offer your family ways to be involved in that, but healthily - while I'm not clamouring to flip through other people's family albums (Gods, remember those?), I do remember being a kid well enough to admire how you're approaching your little 'un's creativity and championing it - good on ya. Also, while I'm a Cardiff boi, I've older cousins - three sisters - who were born and raised in Essex, and hearing Beth describing her monster reminded me of how creative they were, even when we were all tiny
