How do you get the garbage out of your own dumpsters? Do you have your own dumpster truck? Thinking about doing this at my places i have a dump trailer just not sure how i would lift the dumpsters without towing the skid steer around.

Idk how clogged that line is but I work in hydro jetting industry my company specifically uses high pressure water pumps that may have been to unclog that pipe our machines work between 10-40k Psi water pressure we have a rental center in Ohio Jetstream of Houston

I would but a 55 gallon of reclaim asst and dump 1 gallons monthly and it would say you $1000s.

Alot of carwashes these days are forced to recycle their water which means having a pit like 8feet deep by 8 feet wide . this is because cities want to save water and cities are even installing water meters on big water users like carwashes . where your property ends is roughly about where the phone pole is because the city has a set back of between 3 and 6 feet from the sidewalk after that your responsible for sewer and waterlines and their problems . you should have lines jetted and vactrucked at least 2 times a year and your pitts done also . your parking lot entrance is not millable it needs to be ripped up recompacted and repaved cold patch wont last long either .

I did sewer jetting for 2 years, not alot of experience but enough to say confidently a cleaning contract with a jetter is the greatest investment. make sure they can operate in the colder months with jetting. Some smaller companies cant afford to lose that expensive equipment to a line freezing.

i have a $40 used pressure washer and a $60 sewer jetter hose off amazon Its enough to clean grease out of a 6 inch restaurant sewer line. Its not going to cut roots bigger then pencil lead, and its balls slow, but ive easily done $2000 worth of work with it so far.

@@InvestmentJoy oh god yea, you have enough properties that you should have the most powerful setup you can stomach paying for. for the Oil seperator it might be a good idea to get a piece of 1" electrical conduit thats bent to a 90 on one end. lets you easily fish the jetter into the inlet and outlet, and you can use a rowing motion to manipulate the hose. Less crouching on the ground too.

Good video! Lesson learned. Just more knowledge you can apply toward your car wash dynasty! Think about painting the place, including the barely readable sign. How about renting a small corner of the place to a food truck? Might bring in more biz, plus another small revenue stream.

Everyone that has a filthy vehicle, whether it be from mudding or cleaning off UTV's will use your facility instead of their own driveway. This is why you need to have your drain system flushed at least twice a year. Also, that asphalt is not savable with grinding. It will have to be dug up and completely replaced. It appears to be too thin and is beyond its life cycle.

I always wonder if investing in secondary businesses that you commonly use wouldnt be a solid idea. You consistently need equipment invest in a equipment rental businesses, you need 40 yard dumpters invest in a dumpster business, etc

Great job but usually these issues are caused by build up over time and you were lucky it got fixed pretty quick. Sometimes it takes time if the issue is further down but on your land

Car wash and laundry sewers need to be cleaned out at least every 6 months to prevent back-ups. Also water softeners are worth their weight in gold in preventing equipment and plumbing issues.

Yeah I get it we had two separate versions of this video, one was me talking on site the whole entire time and there are other one was entirely me voicing it over we ended up kind of picking from both of them so that we can go back in later and see which version people preferred. Sorry Brandon that you had to deal with this. My recommendation if you decide to by another investment property that offers a difference service, that you find a mentor with a lot of experience & can inspect the business prior to you making a purchase (Sort of like a building inspector, but specific to the type of business). This probably would help you avoid some very expensive lessons! Keep on investing!

So... my wash only has pits, and doesn't have a grease separator. Was the "stuff" in the line just overflowed grease mixed with mud and rocks or what was it? I get my pits pumped out, but I'm obviously worried about the 6" main sewer line now 😲

We do have a drink machine that will do a video on soon, the dog washing station is about 25,000 to set up. We are considering it we just aren't 100% sure yet on whether we have enough customers for it generally speaking they're very good in terms of income granted due to my allergies I know that I could never touch it.

I supposed you would need special equipment to handle the hair in the water as well as building onto the preexisting structure. I would look up where, if any, local dog parks are from your location and do some scouting around there.

Maybee you could repair that asphalt with cold in place recycling, with a attachment on a skid steer. Not sure if that wuold work but it's cheaper, you might also need more virgin asphalt to replace what's missing. Fumes from a manhole killed a father and son vac truck company, it had paint and stuff from a garbage transfer station. Understand about breaking the plane and a no enrtry rescue.

Only 50 grand? You should see the disaster my older brother has because he’s been running a 15k per fiscal year scam and the related interest for going on almost 20 years. A short fuse easily violent trustee who can’t be trusted. If he didn’t have proud boys themed friends, would be not still trying to run a money laundromat. They probably take a cut at the poker table by default.
