I think a lot of people are skipping the first 35 seconds of the video! Here's a part of the transcript from it... *"Let me clear one thing, this is not the list of what I consider to be 50 greatest films of all time. There are many films here that nobody would count among the greatest films ever. However, those films are personally important to me. They have inspired me to pursue filmmaking. And they keep me going every time I think about quitting."*

@Michael Murphy I believe it's only your Perspective on films... I for one, loved Reservoir Dogs, it falls into my top 3 Tarantino Picks. I have been a fan of Movies with shorter lengths, faster pace and Changing timelines... Very few filmmakers can make such a grip with their craft on their First work such as this one. It's probably the only film with lesser "Tarantino bullshit"( meaning in a good way), you can't pick nuances that He usually puts into his films to mark his territory on them... His signature on that particular film is very diminished, which I love.

Vineet, I would personally request you, and probably on the behalf of everyone who follows you here and on the Facebook, that please don't get disheartened or let skepticism creep in your heart, just because of the slow progress your channel is making. I normally never do this and in my almost 10 years on KZbin this would be my 3rd comment only - just to show you that, I care. Your research and your perspective on movies is very scholarly and a lot of cinephiles like me(yes, I know you don't use that word so casually, but I don't have any other word to express my passion for movies) eagerly wait for you to come out with a new video. Yes, I know it has been 3 years and you have reached 50K subscribers only whereas several channels who are merely 'reacting' on trailers have crossed many thousands. But Vineet, understand this - you are serving a niche audience here. They don't come to your channel for 'easy to consume' popcorn entertainment. They are here to learn. You don't have 50k subscribers, you have 50k learners and enthusiasts. Please don't degrade yourself to a 'KZbinr' - you are building a followership here. John Stuart Mill once said - It's better to have Socrates unsatisfied, than a pig satisfied. It's idealistic, but he was right when he said that all pleasures are not the same. I know again, that you put a lot of effort in making these videos, and it's easy for me to say this. I know this is not your fulltime job and you have to devote time to other things, and possibly steal time from your remunerative job to make these videos here. But if the subscribers matter to you that much, I would suggest you should think about marketing yourself more. Share your videos to Reddit, Facebook, etc. more and repost them regularly. Spam the internet with your stuff. People haven't come flocking to you, not because your stuff isn't interesting neither because there are not enough people with that niche a taste. It's possibly because they aren't aware yet, and word-of-mouth, which I am presuming is the predominant reason behind your existing following, has its limits. So, please don't get disheartened and keep making video. Decrease the frquency, but keep making them. I promise you - it's a WIN-WIN. :)

i think it's your channel who help to understand the cinema from the all possible way. in my initial days, when i used to bash the indian cinema. you help to analyse the different and best hindi cinema...... you are the one who has inspired me to watch good cinema and write the critical and logical stories..... thank you for your contribution. hope so that we will meet someday.

Very happy and a little suprise to see some personal favorites of minr like Little miss Sunshine and End of the tour on your top 50. And not surprise at all to see some masterpieces from Coppola, Kubrick and of course Scorsese (goddammit finally found someone who likes Marty films more than me). Greetings from Brazil

Your channel is truly beyond entertainment. It explores cinema as a tool of artistic expressions. Unfortunately most of the population doesn't understand the deeper meaning. Don't let this discourage you. I have found many great movies through your channel. Some of my favorites are on your lists too. That's why I feel connected to the channel. Keep in mind that this channel is an expression of you. Keep up the work. For some of us.
