I am comforted to see Arther's mom still a part of the family. Sometimes hurts enacted by a spouse affect how their family interacts with the other side. I felt relief knowing you have her support too. The kids are going to love living there and having close neighborhood children to play with will be great. They have had the Rhodes children to play with helping them transition from their own yard and woods now will be an easier transition to suburbia and visits to the country to release the need to explore.

Back in the late 1950s my parents lived in an apartment which was across the street from Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. We shared a suit with another another couple the Blankenship's. Seeing your wee little ones playing in the kitchen cabinets reminds me of the stories my mother used to tell me. When I was around 3 I would unload the pans from the Kitchen cabinets and throw them down the steps. I know the Blankenship's appreciated that from me. 🤣🤣

The sound of the Bagpipes just touched my spirit. It is a very spiritual sound, otherworldly My thoughts were that your neighbor was wecoming your family to the neighborhood.. IDK which tunes are which, butI love to watch the marching bagpipe companies on parade on you tube. When we took the ferry boat from Seattle to Victoria BC, the Pipes were playing at the docks,when we arrived.

Idea: A white picket pallet fence around the garden would be basically free or cheap anyway, to keep the babies in and look pretty! 😊 I made a small compost fence that way.

It's so wild that you guys went through all of this. My channel was hacked and stolen in October 2022 and when I got back on KZbin I had to resub everyone and I could never find yall. Now I've been back on KZbin since January and just found your channel by one of your old videos! So now I'm catching up on your whole journey and I can't wait to get up to date. What I meant by its wild to me what you've been thru is because my husband and I separated in October for very similar reasons and me and my children moved to a new home and I shared that on my channel here. Eventually my husband and I worked thru a lot of our issues, he made the changes he needed to make for his own self and healing and we stayed best friends through the whole process because I had faith in him. We are now reconciled and it feels like we're living a whole new life. I pray for you and Art to maintain your love for one another AND to find peace in whatever may come. Just a thought though Bri, you might want to ask your neighbors if they've had any problems in regards to "changing" the way your yard looks, some, neighborhood organizations won't let you have a typical garden, nor do they want you to change the way the front yard looks. I'd sure hate to hear, that you've gotten grief, over rearranging things on your property. Usually, it's not much of a problem, but please, be sure. As I wanted to add a tiny wood stove to my new She Shed, only to find out, that the town we live in, does NOT allow it, and I could be fined if I went and done it anyway. Consider growing even more veggies in the spaces that are mulched. The soil underneath could be prime for planting (composted mulch, aerated wormy soil, etc). I have made many an edible landscape or vegetable garden out of former flower beds!

I don't plant around the perimeter because of termite treatments. It may be safe, but I'm not comfortable with the idea. Also, the termite techs would step on my flowers. Bri's house may be elevated and/or she's not getting regular treatment, but here, they usually pre-treat the ground the house will be built on. Termites did about 50k of damage to my current house, so I'm glad I have a bond.

I’ve been thinking about you for several days. This is a most significant day for you. My thoughts take me back to when your family was living in the moldy house and had to move into the camper. You all were so cramped but we’re making the best of such a cold winter. You fed, schooled, put in a garden and raised chickens, goats and purchased a cow. I remember that you began to have issues with your eyes. You and Arthur carried on and made the best out of so many difficult situations. Then you were blessed with the early delivery of twins! Many more difficult times. I don’t know what happened with Arthur except that he broke down trying to fix that house. I could see him falling apart. My heart went out to both of you. Again, you disappeared for a year and I don’t know what went on but as I see you now Bree I’m truly truly amazed. I’m so happy that you have a brother that could come through and get you this beautiful home. It looks like a perfect place for you and your children. I wish you the best I wish Arthur the best. We were in your neck of the woods 5 yrs ago for our honeymoon. (2nd marriages after a death and a divorce.) Both of us were married for a long time. I wanted to say a read an article in the journal of nursing not to long ago about MOLD AND IT'S AFFECT ON THE BODY, Especially the mind. He may need to get checked for mold exposure. There are treatments. We li e in the Northeast GA mountains. I love to fly fish and come to Ashville to shop at The big Fly fish store. I think it's called Hunters maybe. This weekend in Duluth GA is the BIG Fly Fishing show.

I know how it feels living in a place that's just not right for you, I might as well be living in your camper. Everywhere I look I'm overwhelmed with lack of storage, the need for a deep clean and a paint job. I live in an apartment and the paint is so dark it feels like a cave, just not a cozy one.
