Yay! I remember watching the first video! It was one of the first ones I saw when I decided to big chop back in 2014. My hair is now about an inch past bra-strap length (from a TWA), and it had never grown past my shoulders before. I can't wait until I can say I've been 7 years natural! That last hairstyle is the dream aaaaaah! You should be feeling yourself lol

First things first get a better camera. It will cost you a pretty penny. About $500 for a DSLR and up but try out new cameras first and see what you like. If you want to go major leagues get a Sigma lens it captures a very professional and beautiful shot. The lens will be an additional $250-400. For editors I think iMovie does a good job but it is a standard editor and I might upgrade later. I actually switched to Mac from my PC for the iMovie that came with it. Lastly everything will come in due time your first youtube video will never be as good as the ones you create after. With time your videos will get better in every way.

Thanks I've just been trying to get into cameras and understanding which one works better. The one I have is a panasonic DCM-G5 with a nice lens (14-42 ). I here its all about the lens and the one that everyone has been talking about is the sigma lens. I hope to get a better on in the future. I think yours is way better......what u usin lol.

That's perfect and all you need for now. I'm using the Sony a6300 right now and I am in LOVE! I went ham and got 3 different lenses. I'm glad I did though because I use them all (kit lens for vlogging and selfies, 35mm for filming videos in tight spaces and portraits, and a 50mm for product shots and filming in larger spaces). Blogging and KZbin have made me a tech junkie. lol. Yes that Sigma 30mm Art lens is what I'm eyeing next. It's a pretty penny but relatively affordable. I'll be doing more tech gear videos soon. Focused on the advice right now. 😉

some tips for thin edges ?

Iva Pfeiffer what does your diet look like? Did you recently have a baby in the past 2 years, are you breast feeding? I noticed that my edges suffered when I stopped taking my prenatal vitamins postpartum. I also noticed that when my diet lacks in vital nutrients my edges were weaker. The best advice I can give is to stop pulling, brushing, and using gel too often; be very gentle on your edges. Use Castor oil if the skin on your face can handle it without breaking out. Always add moisture to your edges before brushing and styling it.
