Try doing the gas pedal throttle reset, this is the procedure: 1. Never touch the break pedal & key remains inserted the entire time 2. Insert key and push START Button 3. Press and HOLD accelerator pedal for 30 seconds (some say 5, some say 25 seconds - I did 30 to be sure). 4. WITHOUT RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, push the START Button 5. Release accelerator pedal 6. Wait full 2 minutes 7. Start car normally This helped me when i had throttle oscillation probz

Bmw is giving u a check engine light for a reason no reseting adaptations ect ect is going to fix a faulty component. Since its for throttle position it could be your accelerator Pedal as well as throttle body. Even more vague it could be ur map sensor throttle body or ur wires could have a short or can be touching. Ur ecu automatically checks all your monitored components all the time and if its not reading the right voltage or rpm it will throw a fault.

Throttle body faults are very accurate faults to that specific system. It’s a safety issue. If you do have knowing good TB, most likely you have a harness problem or ECM. Remember TB has two potentiometers that move in opposition direction on a scale. High resistance in harness can cause incorrect reading at the ECM.

It's coming up with a TPS fault code, so bring up the PID for both TP sensors and see what output you're getting when you depress the throttle. No output or only an output for one TPS means a wiring fault. If you extended the wiring, logic dictates that's where the fault is.

Hello Jake, unfortunately the JB4 codes or MHD codes are fully accurate. Code 2CF7is throttle position/PEDAL poisiton sensor/switch 'B' (normally echaust bank side) circuit Range/performance is voltage high or low. I had to diagnosis a car with a code from JB4 and it wasn't accurate at all and it was going into limp mode. Probably a voltage issue. IE a tuning issue as well. Under load something is tripped so check electrical system.

Might be loose connections to the throttle body extension or a bad connection to the throttle body to the DME/JB4. Also in some experience it could be your throttle pedal, i know this could be a problem on some mercedes AMG and some Nissan products and set a code similar to what you’re getting. Reason being is that the APP sensor(gas pedal) has two signal circuits for redundancy and when one of the circuits go bad the computer still has a reference signal for throttle position to allow the vehicle to still be driven the nearest service center

the wiring loom you extended, do a continuity test to make sure all strands off cable are in tact. solder them not crimp because you think they are connected tight, in fact you've probably caught one tiny strand of cable. it will show that its fine for the time being but in time it will come loose with engine vibration. or see if any of the cables are too close to the engine which could of burnt a cable. only talking from experience as a sparky with wires. lol. anyways good luck dude, hope you find the problem.

BIMMER ZEIT if you haven’t changed your plugs in a while, then I would go with either a stock style plug. If you plan on going with stage2/2+ or FBO I would go with a 1 step colder plug. NGK 95770 Laser Iridium are proven to work well

Yes, the NGK 95770 is a great plug for stock or slightly modified 335i. However, they're on a nationwide back-order. Looks like they'll be ready in September. Most of the ones floating around eBay/Amazon are fake. If you're staying stock for the foreseeable future, you can use a OEM-style Bosch plug (3-prong).
