Glad I found this video. I am at the point where I am hunting for a back pack but your video has made me realise that perhaps I don't need a new bag. I have an excellent Mammot hiking back pack so all I'd need is wraps and inserts.

Great, I didn't realize one doesn't need a HUGE tripod for lighter field 8 X10's! Thank you Tony! Stephen

great setup, thanks, nice to know you don't have to have a massive tripod and head to use 8x10" cameras.

Learned a lot from your video about 8x10 photography. I am tip toeing to get into 8x10 due to huge investment, but you push me closer the edge with Nikon 300/f9 lens. I have mentioned lens for 4x5 which is seldom used. Thanks.

Is there still room to fit an ultralight sleeping back and tent? I do a lot of over night backpacking photo trips here in the ozark of Arkansas and would love to bring my 8x10. as long as I can Bring enough stuff for a one nighter. This bag looks perfect though. Thanks!

As long as you own compact gear, there’s definitely enough room for a 2-3 night excursion. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for sharing, definitely inspiring to get further away from the car! I get worried about keeping large format lenses in soft pouches that don’t protect the shutters from getting bent from compression.

That’s a very valid concern. I’ve been fortunate not to have had any incidents. Thanks for watching!😎

Obviously for bag I mean backpack. By the way for me could be usefull to know how avoid to use too much lens movements that go beyond the cover circle of them.
