I am a native New Yorker and I had to get out because it got too expensive. Prices are always going up and the service received for said prices are going down. I just moved to Florida, and could buy two homes for the price I spent in NY. Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Cuomo are destroying NY City and State.

The A and C go into Manhattan before looping back to the outer borough, respectively and so does the J train. That is what ahe was refering to. Actually others wrote to remind her the G train doesn't go into Manhattan at all.

The worst thing that happened to me was the city deciding to do major weekend subway construction on the weekend right before Christmas (what a perfect time). I was trying to get the A train to Penn Station to get a train to Newark, and the city decided it was a great time to run all of the trains on the A line locally. Of course, every stop was packed, and I missed my NJ train and had to pay over $80 for a Lyft to make my flight to my family for Christmas.

I'm in my 60's but trust me, i had this complaint from the time I was a teen. It grates on my nerves when outsiders and tourists treat us like we don't matter and attempt to tell us about out city as though we're clueless. YOUR A VISITOR, STAY IN YOUR DAMNED LANE!!! It has made me more mindful of resudents in cities I've visited. I may enjoy my visit at a slower pace however, the locals still are living there lives and need to get places and do things.

You right about NYC 😎 it is so crazy 😜 among other things ($&%#~) . I been in NYC three times and I love it, but to live there it's totally different. You have to have plenty of Money 💰 and have a good job with a six figures (100,000.00 dollars + per year) and if you don't you have to work so hard everyday and have three or more jobs and live in a ghetto in order to survive. Despite the bad things that NYC has, but it's a Magic City like no other city. Either way you pay a huge price, unfortunately that is how life is 😒. We can't always get what we want (by The Rolling Stones)😂. Thanks for your videos I really like them 👍

You just say, "#9, SUBWAY" and you could include more non-subway related pet peeves. I always say if you complain about the subway so much all the time, but you still choose to ride it, then stop complaining. You can do something about it if you don't like it. As a cyclist, Subway issues are out the window for me. My pet peeves would be people walking and cars parked in the bike lanes. AND CITIBIKE riders. They break more bike laws of the city than cyclists who ride their own bikes. The rat race occurs amongst the cyclist as well. It's annoying. For non-bike related pet peeves are people walking with smartphones smashed into their faces. They are in the way, they are slow, and it's an epidemic!! I'll wait for replies complaining about bikes in the city! ciao!

I am a native Angeleno (born & raised in LA), and just about every complaint you have about New York is the same here in LA! We have trains & subways and though they’re not nearly as old as yours are there always seems to be some kind of [new] construction or delay. Also many of our trains run on the streets- parallel to the vehicle traffic and too many drivers don’t know how to share the road and usually do something stupid that causes a delay. There’s always some kind of construction going on here too. Though they don’t film here nearly as much as they used to, that can occasionally be a problem too (that or some award show)- TRAFFIC. Speaking of traffic you can add that to the list in both cities. As for the dog poop, that seems to be the way most dog owners are these days- lazy & inconsiderate. I feel your frustration, but we both live in cities many dream of (visiting and/or living in). 🤷🏽♀️
