Not everyone is lucky enough to have grandparents or live somewhere where people can grow this old and thats coming from the UK one of the wealthiest countries in the world where all my grandparents died younger than they should have because of how unequal our society is and how poor our healthcare system has been made over time by vested interests. Hopefully in the future we will all get to live out lour lives to their potenetial and have moments like this but that will require a massive change in mentality in what people value.

RIP grandpa John. This is so heart warming. My Grandpa, also Jon, aka dad, passed 3 years ago, and I did things like this all the time. It was such a joy buying him a phone, configuring it for Google voice assistance, and setting the launcher up to have a giant red button as the screen (because he was mostly blind, so I needed to make the whole screen a butto for voice assist). I did a million little things like that to make sure his vision and age never kept him disconnected. I truly treasure those days, and this video is bringing back all that. RIP, I'm glad you and him were close.

Its like showing a kid something new for the first time, but the roles are reversed. It is more... idk, satisfying isn't the right word... to show an adult something new, because they usually react stronger to it. As we age we set up boundaries for reality and fiction, and the older we get the stronger those bounds become. When they are broken its like walking into a dream or fairy tale. I can't imagine what my grand-kids will be showing me in 50-60 years. At the same time, I wonder if I won't already know it. I live and breath tech and science. If they show me something new, it will be REALLY spectacular.
