I've just started watching your videos and noticed that you're aiming to either join a collegiate team or a T3 team. I came across this video that might be useful for your consideration, depending on how you pursue your dreams. Of course, focus on reaching Radiant, but also think about what you really want and what you might need to give up for it. Here’s a link to a video discussing the trade-offs between T2/T3 teams and collegiate teams: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4W6o59or7h-mdE. Wishing you the best on your journey!

Some notes for playing competitively 1. If a teammate makes a call, just go with it, dont argue 2. If you get nervous you lost, stay relaxed and play confident 3. Eat BEFORE the tournament/set 4. Create your own playbook, don't study others. Other plays are to common and are often studied by your opponent as well

Last video I commented on how I believed you had the talent to hit radiant, which you responded to saying you "weren't talented or anything" but watching this video only reinforced my opinion. You ARE talented. Maybe not naturally gifted with Primmie's mechanics or insane gamesense, but you're gifted with insane dedication. Not many people would ever even consider getting sleep, eating better and exercising to improve. Not many people play with that same "play to improve" mindset that you have. Not many people dedicate themselves THIS much to improvement. If you want to believe it or not, you ARE talented and you WILL hit your goals if you keep doing what you're doing.

When school starts I think it will be important for you to sit down and think about your priorities. It's somewhat unrealistic to perform your best in school/do all your work and maintain the level of work you are currently putting into valorant. I would recommend setting a goal for where you want to be grade wise at the end of your upcoming semester and a goal for where you want your valorant abilities to be around that time. Then you can compare those goals, see if you think their realistic, and if they aren't see how you can make them realistic.
@koreyVALАй бұрын

I have some advice to help with your running consistency. I run hs cross country and have also had some struggle with consistency. Hope these help in any way! 1. It is much easier to stay consistent when you have someone to run with, as you can hold each other accountable. 2. 3k every day is quite a bit at the start. I would recommend setting a goal for distance on a weekly basis. Start around 5-10 miles in your first week and see how you feel. You should feel pretty sore, but no sharp pains. After around 2 weeks, increase by around 10% each week. This might feel easy/slow, but it can help to prevent injury or burnout. 3. RUN SLOW. This might seem counterintuitive, but if you want to improve running wise, around 80% weeks of your runs should be at an easy pace. You should be able to breath through only your nose or talk with little strain while at this pace. There are also online running calculators you can use to find your ideal pace. 4. Make sure you have rest days. You need time for your body to rest and recover, as running is quite strenuous. I would start by running every other day. 5. Run after you wake up (Not when school starts). Seeing as you’re getting up early to prep for school, this is the perfect opportunity to run. It is not overly hot in the morning, and instead of having to convince and bribe yourself to run later in the day, you can start your day with a run. Believe me when I say it is a lot nicer to have the rest of the day to relax rather than worry and regret your lack of running. 6. If you don’t have dedicated running shoes and want to go through with your running goals, I would recommend getting some. Brookes is a great starting running shoe brand if you want a recommendation. Find something with lots of support (cushion and ankle support) for a daily trainer. Good shoes make running a whole lo t more comfortable. 7. Find some paved trails you can run on nearby, running through nature is a lot more relaxing and enjoyable than in town. You also don’t have to worry about cars or intersections. 8. Music or no music? I personally prefer running without music. Although I started running with music, as I got more comfortable I felt less and less need for the distraction. 9. Download Strava. If you have an Apple Watch or something similar that can track your runs, connect it to the app and use it for tracking. If you don’t have a watch you can use your phone with the run tracker in the app. It is very nice to see your progression over time and see your pace while you run. 10. Hydration. Honestly I think you’ll be fine with this, as one of your goals was 3 L of water, which is plenty. But I cannot state enough the importance of hydration when it comes to running. You will feel dead if you run without proper hydration. That being said, try not to drink water right before a run, you will feel it. Thanks! Hope all this yappin was helpful
@koreyVALАй бұрын
bro this is really fucking good advice and im gonna save this on a document. thank you so much for the running advice!! im not actually a complete beginner, and already have strava! 3km doesn't feel too crazy, because i used to run 5-6km, but maybe i should scale it back... anyways, thanks so much for this, ill try to take action on it when i have the time
@933darkАй бұрын
@@koreyVALif you have experience with more distance then I would just go off what feels right cause it can vary a ton. Then again if you haven’t run in a bit it might be good to stick to an easier distance and slowly ramp it up. Great video btw! Wishing you luck!

@@koreyVAL success is never guaranteed for anyone. That’s a fallacy. You can work hard for a shot at success but nothing is promised. Didn’t realise you was still pursuing other things in school though. Good on you 👊💯

@@JordanLothian haha of course brother, the truth is that nothing is guaranteed but it's also equally important to have that illogical confidence in yourself that allows you to defy the odds, thanks for ur comments :)
