It’s the spirt to have, I gave in a bought a e46 for skids, but I lucked out with a mint, rust free coupe. My BMW enthusiast mates are telling me to sell it and buy a rough one for skids. Nah F that, it’s sat on my drive & I want to hunt doors with her.

Iv been following the channel since you guys pulled it out of the hedge, I also have my own project on the go and as you spend more and more money and spend more and more time you realise it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks or what it will be worth because that’s not why you doing it. The cars yours and you’ve made it how you wanted it and it looks absolutely mint something so satisfying about putting a car back together

According to Mike from MotoIQ, fender braces do more than strut tower braces (on most s-chassis cars).

Exactly!! Doing what you want and what you love not what's popular. I have always preferred the popup headlights and red lines. The UK spec isn't bad, but this is the best spec! It's also why I used to have a panda US spec 1985 Celica GTS. I prefer the look of the wider body flares and pop-up lights!

make sure you cavity wax the drip rail.. its the spot where the cancer starts. i cant wait to see when you are driving it! beauty. im surprised you didnt do the body reinforcement ( weld in panels) like in ae86 club. (7 iirc) .super nice build series.also seal the rear glass good. dont just trust the rubber to seal it. it wont. well mine didnt. but i have a runfree hatch not oem, water will gather at the bottom when rains. im sooo excited for you!

Oh wow it's been a hot minute since I've checked in with you lot Surreal to see it this far along after all this time, I'd say you can now consider it "almost an car" lol It feels weird to think I binge watched you during my high school years, now I'm grown up and out in the world making my path, although that's left me with little time to watch videos like this as much as I used to.. Nice little nostalgia trip truthfully, I'll have to catch up on things (last video I watched was Japan in a van when you took a trip to the Honda museum, 3 years certainly flew by.) It's cool to see you still going after this time, can't wait to see her when she's ready On another tanget, it's funny to me that I took a year long break for myself to reevaluate much of my life, I discovered I was trans after revisiting emotions and feelings I had bottled up since I was 14, opened up and got help with deeply traumatic events from my childhood and cut off connections with some toxic family members like my own mother, and all this has managed to happened before your Trueno's completion lol Thanks for building my childhood guys, apart from shows like Initial D and Wangan Midnight watching your content got me hooked into JDMs from the popular to the unheard of, shining a light on an incredible culture. Lately I've been losing that spark I had for my passions, including cars, but just watching a little bit of this may have reignited it once again.. so thank you for that

I've about five or six sets that I've lusted after; somehow, I got lucky to pick them up at Distro; this was over the seven-year span of the building, and I wanted to pick them up when the car was finished, but that never happened! So these were purchased whenever I found a deal Suzuka longchamps by SSR were the first, 14x8.5 +19 / 14x8 - 12 Then I picked up some Buddy Club P1s in 86 sizes, 15x8 +12 Watanabes r types, two grey two silver, think Im gonna do em both in silver 14x8.4 -13 TE37s in white, and somehow got em in bronze, both sets were a lucky find 14x6.5 +-0 Advan a3as in small sizes for that old school look 14x7 +4 Southern Ways mesh (glids) always my fav mesh wheel, might rebuild em someday, unsure what spec these are; probably 14x8 Picked up the SSR Mk3s in distro from the last video 14x8.5-12 14x8 -+0 Ive a pair of techno phantoms id love to rebuild sometime, these are 14x7 -4 I have one set of wheels I was hoping to unveil the car on which Ive been keeping somewhat quiet, I am way too into wheels, but this should be enough variety to switch things up over the coming years, I can flip between one piece and old school, then depending on the mood, its nice to have these to switch up the look within half an hour, id love to track down more but its never ending
