Cant Africans have the same sense of style? Mercy clearly stated that she change the roofing herself to a translucent one. Sometimes we give to much credit to the west not realizing the only difference is that we always feel inferior to them while they don't.

@@naimawalendo5341Just to be clear. This shouldn't be an issue of who's superior or inferior. It's about origin of design. For instance, we categorize designs in terms of where they come from. There are, Scandinavian designs, Bohemian, Oriental...etc.... Most Kenyan, maybe even Nigerian, Ugandan houses have backyards, front porches but not sunrooms, thats why i thought the original owner must have been from the west. And if not, (s)he can fit other descriptions- creator, artistic etc...The sunroom was there before, right? Mercy just changed the roof and enhanced it. In any case, some of the renovations we do are inspired by designs from various origins, courtesy of Pinterest, houzz etc... I hope, I'm clear.

That house has a boho feel and that design originated from the west , whether she did it or the previous owner did , it doesnt change that fact . And as mentioned in the video there was a sunroom before she moved in. She jus enhanced it and we still give her credit for that . She did an amazing job.
