I'm happy to hear things are going better for you Mr.Reach, I understand it's hard to open up about stuff like this and to share this on your channel is awesome because you let people know there not alone. We all have our struggles in life some harder then others but the main thing is to never give up, if you fail try again and if you still fail pick yourself up and keep trying you will succeed as long as you don't give up. This video reminds me of a quote from a movie I watched when I was younger " never give up...never surrender ". Can anyone name that movie?

Good on you for speaking up about this. It's talking about it that makes the subject less "taboo", and helps the next person take steps to help them lead a normal life. Also don't let *anyone* tell you there's a "right" way or a "wrong" way to deal with problems like this. If something works for you, it's the right way for you.

Hey Reach, I've dealt with depression and anxiety for years and didn't think I needed help. Talking to someone about it and being put on meds changed my life for the better. I also had a good friend that encouraged me to seek help and supported me through my issues. This was brave of you to come out and let everyone know about your mental health. This is something we need to feel more comfortable discussing with others.

Thanks so much for sharing Mr. R. I'm happy you reached out to your community and talked about it openly. Exactly 1 year ago on March 12th I almost died, a couple of times. Not covid related, I have end stage liver disease, but covid struck at the same time. I was very traumatized over the entire experience. Now I have panic attacks and prefer not to go anywhere, especially the thought of the hospital is terrifying. Now I am pretty reclusive and want to stay away from everything. I have a hard time trusting medical staff and most people in general. I am 46.

Thank you for opening up and sharing. While I don't suffer from that I do have other issues that are being treated and I know what it's like for loved ones to say "It's all in your head" Well yeah, but not the way they are talking. I was telling my counselor today that I have noticed more people talking about mental health on social media and it's great that more people are getting information out there so others know they are not alone or weird. Well I am weird but not because of my mental issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience. People are very reluctant to take medication, however as a fellow panicker and one who suffered from agoraphobia. I had no clue what I had but the more digging I did, I found the courage to get help. I was bought up to not take meds, especially for mental issues, and I went for a few years stuck in this state , stuck because I wasn't one to take meds. There was no such thing as mental illness in my culture, and if you did, they'd tell you get over it. Very uncaring and discouraging. To be fair, I was given something that made it worse, which only heightened my dislike of meds, and so I struggled for years before I couldn't take it anymore and decided to try again. I am very very grateful that it has worked for me this time, otherwise I'd be still stuck. So thank-you for sharing, there would be many out there frightened to take that step, but as you said, “I would have done it earlier if I've known how well you can be” So if anyone is unsure of taking meds, I want you to be encouraged by this video and my testimony. Life is so much better when you can deal with the right chemicals in your brain. Don't stay stuck, there is help out there, and you must try u til you find something that works. The only time it wont work is when you give up, so take courage. God bless.

@@ReachGaming of course. I just want others out there to be encouraged to seek help and try medication because life for me before medication was no life. Agoraphobia, anxiety and depression are horrible and debilitating for some. There would be others out there afraid of stepping out and trying medication, but believe me, it has impacted my life in a positive way. I do feel sorry for those out there who are unable to take medication. I hope they find something that would really work for them.

Thank you for being so open with your condition. There are over 3 million diagnosed cases in the States every year. I'm interested to know what your trigger is? For some it's environmental. For others it's expectations of human interaction. Maybe both? There really are a lot of people in the world who suffer in silence and it's not healthy. Good for you in seeking help. I battled minor PTSD well into my late thirties before I sought professional help (sleep disorder.) I really enjoy your live web casts and hope they continue.

I started having serious panic attacks at 18 in 1968. There were no medications that worked. I was completely housebound from 1974 to 1977 and had serious panic leaving the house until the mid 1980s. I'm 73 years old now and still have some problems, I still don't travel far distances driving myself from home alone, but for about 35 years I've gotten to where I drive and go out quite a bit. I even worked for 30 years as a substitute teacher. in 1998 I had a big setback but checked in a mental hospital for a week. After that I started taking daily the serotonin uptake med, Paxil. That worked and helped my Chemical Imbalanced Brain. ~ Peace to all who suffer, there is help now. Unlike in 1968 when I first started having serious panic (and bad depression).
