Hey loves! In this video I go in detail about the steps I took to enlist in the Air Force. Not everyone’s process is the same, and a lot of different factors can play into how long or how short it may be, but hopefully my experience can shed some light on what to expect. Please feel free to comment with any questions and/or concerns, or reach out to me directly. Enjoy!

I’m seriously happy you talked about the DLAB test because my Recruiter noticed that I’ve taken honors Japanese in grade school and I scored pretty well on the ASVAB or PICAT( which is the online link you’re talking about). I told him I’ll look into the crypto linguist but my main goal is to do medical since I have 1 year left in nursing. You’re so informative and my MEPS is next week. It took me a while because of my High metabolism is a blessing and a curse... mine was acting like a curse for me because I finally reached the weight of 125lbs so it’s been a long time coming sis but we here now! Lol I appreciate you thank you!!

@ebonyjasmin Im 17 and a senior in highschool and I was wondering if you could give me some advice about enlisting because I want to enlist but Im lowkey scared and don't know if I should enlist right after high school or wait until after high school.
@EbonyJasmin
@EbonyJasmin 3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Ultimately it’s up to you and what your plan is/what’s best in your situation. I personally think it’s very smart to enlist right after high school and put yourself ahead of the game, especially if you don’t know exactly what you want to do in college. You can set yourself up, still learn a skill, get your degree for free, save money, I think it’s a very smart choice.

I'm made for languages. I'm trying to join the AF as well and I speak 5 languages and study 5 more. I really want to become a Cryptolinguist, but other Air Force KZbinrs say not to go to your recruiter only wanting one job. My question is: Does the Air Force really ever have too many linguists to the point where there are no jobs available? I don't want to seem picky or ungrateful to my recruiter, but language is my specialty and it would be a huge waste of time and talent for me to do anything else.

Hi! I'm currently talking to my recruiter right now to start enlisting. I really want to be a linguist but I am a single mother.
