Are your sires and dams OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) qualified or no?

@@nishobap That's a little irresponsible, no? My Akita is OFA CHIC qualified: hips & elbows x-rayed, eye exam & thyroid panel, as required by the Akita Club of America and the American Kennel Club.

@@Taric25 Brasi is 1 years old. When he is mature enough to breed. I will consider these things. As of right now, my focus is allowing him to grow, mature and develop into a strong healthy adult male first.

Thank you, @@nishobap , the Akita Club of America and the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals recommend the x-rays done at two years of age, and you can of course do all the other tests at that time, too.
