I am 47, and this morning, as I was overdosing on you tube videos; waiting for my 17 and 9 year old to wake up, I suddenly felt older than I have in years. I ran my fingers through my nearly waist long hair and thought, I am so tired. I have let myself go while raising these kids. A 26 year nurse, too tired for makeup and too tired to care; I thought, I have got to do something! Now, I am a Texan, and have lived in Matagorda County my whole life, and I have watched you forever. I you tubed something along the lines of "fixing short hair", and you popped up. I have been using Loreal Medium Chestnut Brown for years. Everyone asks me what my color is. Kenra is my favorite hairspray too. I had a former hairdresser use it on me and I use nothing else. I like your tips because you seem to know what the average woman likes, no fancy high-priced stuff. You are such a pretty woman. I am inspired to make myself as pretty as possible with your tips.

You can buy the Loreal Feria conditioner at the larger Sally Beauty Supply stores. It may be a slightly different formula since it is the one included with their Feria hair dyes, but it is really good and is also designed to be an after dye conditioner and you won't have to buy and discard the box dye.

I have to agree with you, the conditioners from L’Oreal hair dye are the best! That’s what I use. I wash my hair once a week because of dry highlighted hair, and I keep it very shiny that way.

I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and use that same exact same Jergens body lotion! However, there are two and the difference in the other is they add + firming. So, same product, but it's Jergens natural glow + firming daily moisturize fair to medium, that's the one I buy!!! Last year, 2015 it was in the process of a patent pending for adding the firming! As of 2016 the patent was approved!! Just thought I'd throw that out there and I do feel a difference!! 💕 I buy two bottles at a time at Walmart because it flies off the shelf!!!! I don't have much luck finding the firming one at Walgreens or CVS. Maybe online. I hope you try it, I think you'll really like it and I don't notice any smell or odor, and they are exactly the same with the minor difference of the + firming!! Take care, 😀

Sure, my routine is pretty basic, though. I've been using Vichy products from Walgreens. They're a higher end line the drugstore carries. I look for Vitamin C and retinol in the creams for face and eyes.

I worked for Estee Lauder as a Beauty Advisor and the girls and I would often talk about what products we absolutely just loved...and Loreal products was one that seemed to come up among most of us for quality drugstore products with out hitting the pocketbook. Cant wait to try some of the products you mentioned. The lighting is somewhat better in the kitchen. I think you could go either way (maybe get some special lighting that make-up artist use in their Salons installed in your bathroom. Thank you again.

My new favorite this year is a product called Tan Physics, it's a self tanning lotion. It doesn't smell funny and it doesn't make you orange, just a great looking natural tan. Be careful though, it does transfer if you wear white, around the neck and arms. I'm in search for great skincare. I've been experimenting with alot of home glycolic peels, scrubs and masks lately. I need to do them a few more times before I would recommend any if them yet, but so far so good. Love watching you on you tube, in my head...we are friends....lol

I love the Kenra volume hairspray too! The generic version of it @ Sally Beauty is an exact dupe as far as I can tell. Also comes in a silver can with black writing 😉
