I have a suggestion for you, try 'I Can Hear Music' and 'Goin' Back' by Larry Lurex (this was Freddie Mercury under a different name) here is the story. Trident Studios was brand new, they wanted to test the Wall Of sound technique, made famous by Phil Spector. One engineer from Trident Studios were fascinated by the Wall Of Sound Technique. They had two cover tracks that they wanted to record, but they wanted an extremely innocent type of voice to sing these songs, they did not have a singer yet. Queen's demo tapes were laying around in studio and someone listened to Queen's demo tapes, they thought Freddie had exactly the voice they were looking for, so they called him into the studio, in order to record these two songs. They first recorded the song Goin' Back (this one is great, it was a hit for Dusty Springfield). They were not perfectly happy with the sound, so Freddie called Brian and Roger into the studio as well, and they contributed on I Can Hear Music. This was recorded in 1972. They basically recorded these two songs for a single. But Queen was obviously interested in their own music, and Queen did not want to record any cover songs. (Queen never recorded any cover songs). The musical style was also very different from Queen's first album. So they decided to release the single under a different name. As a joke Freddie picked the name Larry Lurex, it was a play on Gary Glitter. Lurex is a type of shiny material. The name actually worked against the single, Gary Glitter was highly respected at the time, so radio stations did not like the idea of making a mockery of Gary Glitter.

I love this song and video. This and Breakthru don't get enough love in my opinion.

Love this track too. I remember having goose bumps when I first heard it back in 1991. My favourite Queen live tracks are Now I'm here. And Hammer to fall especially from the 1986 Wembley concert. Showing Queen at their best!

Feels like a successor to Don’t Stop Me Now. Yet another awesome Queen song.

I love this song also but I fluctuate between "Headlong" and "Breakthru" for my favorite song to get myself moving on those mornings when I can't see to get going. As Queen sang at the end, "Gnoldeah" (Headlong backward) to all!!

This is a song Brian wrote for his solo album and Freddie loved it so much he convinced Brian to let him sing it and the band perform it . I love this song it's got such great energy and it's great to see them really enjoying themselves. It had to be so hard coming to terms with knowing they were running out of time with their friend Freddie. Brian May has his own version of this on KZbin that is much heavier sounding, you might want to check it out.

Hi! You have no idea how happy your videos reacting to Queen, and of course my favorite person, Freddie Mercury, have made me! Seeing how someone can be such an inexhaustible source of creativity, sensitivity, and depth makes me feel happier to be alive. Please keep reacting to Queen! And well, if you’d like to explore some Latin American rock (I’m from Chile, in South America), please also react to Soda Stereo and Gustavo Cerati (singer and guitarist of the band). I suggest starting with “Prófugos,” the live version from the Me Verás Volver tour! Best regards!!!

“Hoop Diddy Diddy Hoop Diddy Doo” .. Love this song, especially Brian’s guitar work! And what’s better than Freddie dressed in yellow having a good time?! When the INNUENDO album was remastered in 2011, a version of the song with Brian on the lead vocals instead of Freddie, was released. Interesting ..

Hi! I just saw this Official Video released…. Another Queen great, with all except John (who really didn’t sing) having vocal lines. From their 1994 album The Miracle. Take care!!

Dunno if it is my favorite because Queen is, imo, one of the few bands that can (and did) make a legit Greatest Hits Double-Album and i wouldn't like 1 or 2 songs max. That being said, Headlong is such a great song and i love it so much, that i always put it up-there for discussion!

New subscriber! Could you sometimes react to ‘now I’m here + now I’m here reprise’ ( both in one ) live in Montreal? The drums in it are epic :D

Hello! I don't know if you know Diana Navarro, but I've seen you enjoy reacting to Montserrat Caballé alongside Freddie Mercury, and I know you're going to love it. She is, surely, the best Spanish voice in decades. Here she is known as 'the woman with 3 lungs'. She's going to surprise you. She left you a link: 'Cuplerías' kzbin.info/www/bejne/m57EeXhnq7pnms0
